DCFC Ram got a reaction from OUTSIDER in Lawrence up to 30 minutes in a game
Whilst I think that you are right, I think that this is also the reason why we need players with better attitude and (at least) comparable ability to Lawrence if we to go up. As I say, you are 100% right - but this is why we are still in the league that we are in.
Tomori, Mount and (usually) Wilson gave up premiership quality and (usually - Wilson) effort and the difference nearly took us up.

As we saw from Ince and Johnny Russell (and now from Lawrence and Waghorn), we seem to either get wholehearted commitment but variable quality (JR) or variable commitment and the odd flashes of brilliance (Ince and Lawrence).
I was happier with JR than Ince and I have greater respect for Waghorn than Lawrence over a typical season. At least Russell and Waghorn look like they are bothered.

DCFC Ram got a reaction from SKRam in ticket prices
I am a season ticket holder and needed to buy 2 extra adult tickets for the West Brom game - in the cheapest area. £33 each plus the 'booking fee'!
    £68.
the only way to get a reduction would have been to shell out an extra £40 for 'membership' to save about £15!
for a game that's on tv.
anyway, we are all '12th man' so it's fine

Paul Green did well enough for us. He always worked hard and seemed to give his all in my opinion. Chris Porter always tended to put the ball in the net when he had a 1-2-1 on a breakaway with their keeper. Not sure why I remember this, but I do.

It is unfair to compare a footballer who has just finished a game with an ex footballer who is paid to comment on the game, but the post match segment of Ramage and then Keogh was far weaker than the comments from Cocu.
For his of his effort and attributes on the pitch, Keogh really ain't the person to put in front of a microphone after the game. I don't think that it does him any favours.

I listened to Radio Draby on the way to the car after the game as usual.
It was impressive how Cocu spoke with eloquence and precision to provide an informed and insightful summary of the performance in less than a couple of minutes - and that's with English being his second (possibly third, fourth, fifth or even sixth language).
Ramage's post match comments were drivel in comparision.

I watched the Netherlands easily beat Spain in 17s game at Burton last year. 2 things struck me about the Netherlands approach. 1) The coaches said very little during the game. They remained calm, studying what was happening. 2) The CDM and the CHs swapped positions a fair bit during the game depending on what was happening. They did it themselves without the instructions of the coaches.
Netherlands were very impressive. It was quite unusual to see the 2 approaches & v different to watching a typical 'English' game.
I think that we saw a glimpse or two of this v Huddersfield with Evans dropping back a few times.

It's harsh but true IMO but yesterday's post match from Ramage reminded me that he has 3 main flaws:
    1) Words of more than one syllable;
    2) Words that he uses without knowing what they mean;
    3) Making worthwhile comments after watching a Derby County game.

Roos 7 not much to do.
Bogle 8 looked quality as usual
Keogh 7 he did ok. A couple of trademark misplaced passes, but he certainly wasn't alone in that today
Clark 8  he's a good centre half who just does what is needed without the theatrics
Malone 6 worked hard but lost the ball too often
Evans 5 didn't achieve a lot in the first half before getting the hook
Huddlestone 6 strong, slow and made some good passes
Lawrence 5 did some covering work sometimes, otherwise largely irrelevant
Jozefzoon 5 worked hard at times, turned his man at times but his progress is too slow
Dowell 7 too inconsistent today. Some decent football but got caught out too often on the ball and passing wasn't great at times
Waghorn 5 worked hard as usual. Missed a handful of half (plus) chances and the penno
    Subs
Lowe 7 got busy straight away and did ok
Paterson 5 I'll reserve judgement. There were times when he didn't show or make as much effort as I would have expected. No witch hint from me though.
Marriott 5 didn't get much inside the box but did quite well in the air against their CHs

Johnson does say some odd things.  He's getting to sound like the bloke from the fast show who agreed with everyone even if they said the opposite. But Johnson's version seems to be that he says what people want to hear when they are in immediate earshot - even if it's the exact opposite of what he said to someone else previously.
    Unlikely to end well
