I kind of feel bad for Crewe, they’ve been brilliant.

I'll be amazed if we turn this around

3 promoted clubs all in the bottom three. Forest and Bournemouth, two clubs promoted the season before, make up the bottom five. Meanwhile in the Championship, the three relegated from the PL make up the top four.
Why bother?
Brentford are top half

I don't think we're allowed to make 11 changes for the EFL trophy matches, are we?
So we may have to make a few each game?
EFL regulations state each club must field their ‘Full Available Strength’ in and during all EFL Trophy matches.
'Full Available Strength' means the EFL Club must include at least four Qualifying Players in the ten outfield Players named in the starting eleven on the Team Sheet.

We’ve been poor since February. We’re going nowhere this season or next with Warne in charge.
Said arsenal fans about arteta. I'm not saying Warne is going to be the second coming of pep but I think he needs more time. We've not been bad enough to sack him yet.

It’s one of these for me:
1) Genuinely believes that the biggest takeaway from the Mel era was that chopping and changing managers constantly was the problem, as opposed to just hiring bad ones (which was the problem)
2) He can’t afford to sack him, which is troubling in itself because that’s something you really need to be able to afford in order to run a football club…
3) He is publicly backing him but has different thoughts privately (a bit like @Duracellwas suggesting)
4) He is quite happy to let us go through years of being a League One club because a League One Derby County is something he can afford to run, as opposed to a Championship one.
Or he wants to give him time. We're 5 points off the playoffs with 2 games in hand. We are poor but we're in October. The season can be salvaged.

I don't understand why he's been sacked

Thing is you look at the Sheffield Wednesday team that amassed 96 points last season. Their squad wasn't really much better than ours is this season.

Very much a mid table L1 squad.
Are you Warne out?

I'd be very surprised if he was sacked. We're only 5 points off 6th with 2 games in hand. We've still won more than we've lost.

-
I'd be shocked if he was sacked but even more shocked if he resigned.

Cocu didn’t get as much leeway as what Warne is getting and he was a proper player and international on a different level to Warne ….also didn’t go after compensation as far as I’m aware …a decent bloke ….Warne should walk we gave him his big chance and he has not risen to it
Cocu won 1 out of 11 games in the 20/21 season. I'd say he got far more leeway

Interesting interview there on radio Derby. Warne got a bit snappy there with dom.

Clowes won't get rid the results haven't been bad enough for that

And Portsmouth just keep on winning...

Steve Evans has turned Stevenage into a more competent team than Paul Warne has Derby on roughly a fifth of the budget - without the benefit of a category one academy to utilise.
We’re both playing the same type of football, they’re just better at it. What a sad day in the history of this club.
We don't even seem to have a 'type' of football. I don't know what we are

We deserve the replay but need to be a lot better. Shouldn't have gone 2-0 down in the first place.
