You've stated twice that my opinion is everything wrong with football. I'd describe that as being outraged yes.

Even if we were to finish 6th from bottom of the Championship , during the season you can have a mini-run of bad results . That is when the “Bottle” of David Clowes will be tested. But yes re-build to start in 3 week.

If we fail to get promoted...I'd like him gone, If we get promoted he deserves his chance, All embargos lifted and free to use the market, Clowes will have to watch how PW fares in the Championship, If we are stuck around the bottom 4/5 around Xmas then the fans...imo will start with the negatives, If we're mid table around the same time then Clowes might decide to extend his contract.
Whatever the outcome after 27th April there's another re-build on the agenda.

But our midfield is better than it has been all season with Adams and Smith?
leave Bird on the bench! (Or even better in a cage) That way he can’t F it up for us. Can you imagine if he started and we got battered in midfield again.

I don't think I'd be dropping Korey Smith anytime soon. He's playing the most effective football of his Derby career.
I'd stick with Saturday's line-up, safe in the knowledge that we have potential game changers on the bench.

Pretty sure if he can stand the pain of getting that naff neck tattoo done, he can withstand a few boos from the odd numpty in the crowd
Personally I couldn't care less - I just want to see us promoted out of this bloody awful league

I’m sat in the west stand so it wasn’t aimed at me anyway 👀
Irrespective, scoring two goals against a very poor Leyton Orient side doesn’t make up for an error riddled season where he has cost us more points than he has won us. Perhaps the criticism from some quarters has gotten personal which is of course never acceptable, but that celebration is no way to react to your own fans, most of whom probably aren’t those involved.
It just goes to further reinforce my opinion that he’s a bit of a prize weapon, who clearly doesn’t accept that he’s performed poorly this season. As I recall, he attempted to plead his innocent to Warne after the Northampton game, rather than stand up and accept he’d let the team down - it’s clear Warne didn’t believe him, given we didn’t launch an appeal.

I don't think he's been slagged off that much but he's been a disappointment given he came from the Championship.   In a back 3 he'd be 5th choice if Fozzy and Nyambe were fit - even on Saturday he didn't look as assured as Nelson and Cashin but he scored two goals and if he did that every week he'd get a free pass for his defensive lapses.

or perhaps 'that's what I can do .....on a good day'
It was a good 2 goal performance from SB, no question. But that nonsense at Northampton was unnecessary and unprofessional.

Of course not, but that doesn’t mean that fans aren’t allowed to be annoyed at him for it. Every player who does something like that should accept it - Tom Lawrence did many times, for example.
He should’ve apologised, and moved on today. The fans were behind the whole game, there was no need to give any reaction to the south stand. Quite frankly, for the vast majority of this season, Sonny Bradley has been awful - making numerous mistakes and displaying a lack of leadership. One game yesterday doesn’t change that. He doesn’t seem willing to own up to his mistakes.

I know 2 Luton fans, both of whom said
    - thanks for taking him, and
    - can't play in a 3 as too slow when he gets pulled out of position.
Seems to have been a mixed bag. Probably ok when we're at home, on the front foot and not much actual defending to do. Otherwise, not so impressive.

Have we found the reason that David Clowes picked Warne over Rosenior ? To make a profit , running a club . Selling your academy players like Knight and Bird , then bring in freebies . We know we can’t compete with “Parachute Teams” - some getting £55 mill in the first season for getting relegated, but we don’t want to become a yo-yo team .

Just assuming we will not have a decent budget in the Championship compared to many other teams.
The best available players there might look at us and say they've only just been promoted and they might be relegated, there are better championship teams we could play for.
Money counts, will we have that.
Will our budget be significantly more than warne had at Rotherham.
A number of the players we've signed barely got a place on the substitutes bench at the championship teams they came from.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts. It’s looking like he will do the job he was signed to do. He is no fool and will be aware that this style of play will not cut it in the Championship. Maybe with money to spend on better players he can get us playing a more expansive style, maybe not, hopefully we will be seeing if this is the case next season.

The football this season has been tough to watch, even when winning. There's definitely cause for concern when thinking about how we're going to do if we go up.
But if Paul Warne manages to get us promoted with a squad that has been plagued with injuries all season whilst having next to no money to spend, then he will have more than earned the right to take us into next season.
He'll also have earned the chance to spend some money and mould this squad into what he wants.
Quite what that might, in theory, look like worries me slightly, based on what we've seen this season. But that's just an assumption. Maybe with some money to spend, Warne can overhaul the playing staff and get us playing some nicer stuff? We'll see.
The bigger question will then be: what money has he got to work with?
The club and ownership will need to back him if he's going to have a decent chance.

We would have stayed up comfortably 2 years ago with a defence that was 117 years old, two blokes who are playing for Aberdeen, 6 youngsters who'd never kicked a first team ball, two constantly injured strikers with a combined of nearly 70 and Lawrence who loved a red card when we looked like making an escape.  We'll be fine with some tinkering.  Best get there first.  Start by not lumping the ball into the box all day Saturday.  At our place they ate it all day without breaking sweat.

I never said I felt it was likely. It's just the opinion I'm of really. None of us know what it'll be like, I just personally haven't enjoyed the football very much this year which I can appreciate is down to personal taste. I just have a feeling it isn't going to translate well to being in the division above when we don't have such advantages.
I don't think Clowes would do what I'm suggesting for a second.
It could well have been determined by all of the above. And ultimately, if we see the job out it will be a success. I could be and would like to be wrong, I just have a feeling it won't be much fun for us next year.

Everyone would take a mid table Championship season next year, and if Warne achieved that it would be a job well done. I'm slightly twitchy however that it'll be a real scrap at the bottom. Wednesday have awful recruitment of both the manager and players to blame and Plymouth are going to stay up from here.

I used to work with someone who was a man by day but a woman at night just a couple of years ago.
When we went out for our departments Christmas drink he was invited to attend same as everyone else.
But he was the only one that was asked if he was attending in his home kit or away kit.
    😂😂😂

Obviously he saw the funny side because his answer was you will have to wait and see with a wry smile.
