So do you think from the thread title that PW will go "omg I forgot about a striker, thank goodness @Curtains reminded me." Rather than always seeing the most negative angle possible could it be that finalising Knight's position and getting the defence for perhaps less financial outlay than expected, that we are looking at finalising different targets now? Of course it would be good if new striker(s) were there for pre-season but on the basis PW's pre-season is for some "creating niggles", surely its better that they do miss it by that logic? 
 

Hope you’re not getting too anxious @Curtains there’ll be al sorts going on behind closed doors. Keep the faith. We are definitely looking better by the signing and I believe there’s a little surprise or two in store for us in the coming weeks up front.

Honestly wouldn’t mind him, he scores goals and that’s something we’re desperately missing right now. 1 year deal I don’t think is an awful bit of business. Person aside he’d be a quality signing for league 1

Not that I particularly wish Reading to go through what we did, but it really does seem like reading are being given every helping hand possible by the EFL. At some point I guess they would learn from the mistakes they made with us, and would be a bit more helpful, but it grates that they had to make all their mistakes with us first.

We could do with a goal sniffer.

We have had 10 players out and 7 in. We have filled the right back slots which we didn’t do last season but there are still big holes in the squad and I think we need another four players and need now to focus on quality forwards. 

I wouldn’t say it’s the best badge in football, but it’s in the top one.
