It was designed originally in the centre of a good working class area when workers lived near to their works and few had cars. But by the 90s it had outlived its location. Pity but had to happen sooner or later.

Agree in part but remember that “gotten” is good old English, meaning a recent acquisition such as “I’ve got a car“ ( I have or own a car) and “I’ve gotten a car” (I’ve just bought a car).  Lost in UK now but still there in “forgotten”. “Guys” is another. Dropped out of  use over here in the late 1700s but has made a comeback. The single digit gesture is Italian in origin.

I would never regard this as a Derby. Too different in size to be rivals. Manure v Salford wouldn’t be a Derby for me either
