We would be relegated for sure. We'll have an attendence of around 16,000 and no players of championship quality. Last season was all about sticking it to the EFL but next season on -15 points, it will be down to the new owner. No group of players will put in 100% every week when it's the owners fault and the fans will throw the towel in also.
But the "bring Mike Ashley in" brigade don't see it.
15 points deduction next season will mean League Two the following season.

Have you been on the drink? People on here ( along with fantasy island kirch) talking promotion tilts next season with our players staying , manager staying and on mega money , players attracted to the club by said manager despite the state it’s in and a toss up whether they get they’re wages at the end of every month and a bounce straight back promotion push ,
the fantasist has left the building , now let’s get down to the real business of finding out what actual business people are prepared to pay when they fully intend to pay up and buy the club in the state it’s in
do people actually not realise that our club is teetering on the verge of extinction and just being saved at this point is far from a given , anything beyond that is a bonus ,
now I’m just off to talk to the fairies at the bottom of my garden to see if there’s any parties comming up

Totally agree. This talk of getting a -15 points deduction and still being in contention for the play offs as things stand is plain fantasy......we would struggle to stay up.....

-15 points kills the season for me. We desperately need a rebuild at all playing levels and even if saved would be subject to significant restrictions based on business plan and P&L. A points deduction makes another relegation a very real threat.
I'm utterly sick of this club getting a kicking. Another points deduction would IMHO be a hammer blow for morale for players and fans alike.

Do you really think the EFL want to help us even care about us.
All they care about is that they are not the organisation that puts us into liquidation,,they would rather the administrators did that, that way they save face.

That's it exactly, unless we have a DCFC  supporter with deep pockets and a big bank balance (yes i know we have already done that).
Buyers wont have the sentiment regarding the club it is purely business and not a very viable business at that.

Not quite the same is it,other clubs aren't in administration, other clubs have a full squad.
Yes you can start another season in administration however the EFL have a right to ask for proof of funding to complete the season, at this present time we can't do that.

To be honest, this has been our reality for most of this calendar year. You'd have to be nuts or mega rich to buy Derby County, preferably both. We've been superb at attracting the former.

we have to face it... we need a rich idiot willing to pay over the odds for us to survive as the club we currently are. There's no realism of value that works. It's either someone pays more than we are worth, and we rebuild, or they don't and we are booted out of the Football League. The EFL cannot bypass rules just to keep a decent-sized club in the league. The HMRC won't accept peanuts. The footballing debts MUST be paid in full. DELL want 100% of what they're owed, which is increasing with every loan that Q take from them.
It needs a sugar daddy to survive. End of..........
CK could've been that Sugar Daddy, but the way fans treated him was disgusting over the last few weeks. We will never know if he would have been successful and if he was a genuine tyre-kicker or was scared off.

But there literally is no deal available at that kind of price.  If you don't pay enough to clear the stadium (by whatever means) and enough to meet the minimum requirements of the EFL insolvency policy, then you either have a club with no stadium to play in, or a club with no league to play in.  If Ashley is still only prepared to offer £28m or similar, and wants to own the stadium for that, he's just another non-serious time-waster IMO.
Any bidder offering that kind of money has to accept that they won't own the stadium (and be able to negotiate a deal with whoever Kirchner's stadium partner was), or somehow be able to strong arm Morris into clearing some/all of the MSD loan (and history suggests that this is very unlikely to happen, at least on any kind of realistic timescale).
