We've also beaten plenty of good South American and African teams in that time but because they aren't Brazil, Germany or Italy, people just assume they can't be good teams.

I think some people think that if England beat them, they are not good teams.

On no account should we give England any credit.

On Ben Foster's pod cast, The Cycling GK, he says that England have won 6 of the last 27 games against teams ranked in the top 10, I haven't fact checked it, but if true that is a pretty poor record, and backs what @Bris Vegas is saying, we need a win against one of the better nations to give everyone (fans and players) the belief that we can win against these teams, and we deserve to be considered a feared top nation, instead of a flat track bully. Foster and Darren Bent also say the same in the same podcast.

Tomori dropped from the latest squad. Doesn’t feel like he’s been given much of a chance, last couple of England games he started at LB

    Henderson still in

Tomori has only just come back from a couple months out injured.

After wins for all the top 5 on Saturday, we remain 4th in this "effective" table, everyone on 3 points more from a game more. However, Tuesday night sees Barnsley at home to Bolton meaning one or both of them will drop points and, regardless of the result we shall move up into effective 3rd place. My preference would be for the draw. Peterborough are also playing at home to Northampton. It would be great if they drop points so remain at arms length.

Wouldn't the best outcome be Barnsley win, with them then losing their other game in hand? Obviously that's in fantasy land. The 2nd best result would be a Bolton win, take them 3 points ahead of us but as we still need to play them then we can still overtake them, the draw would be the worst result as we would have to try and overtake both of them (if Barnsley win their game in hand).

So no change for those of us without Sky Sport or BT Sport?

No change for me then. Man United games will always be screened (yawn) regardless of who they are playing, I’ll watch the occasional game on the BBC or ITV, one of the big 5 or 6 teams will win it and Derby will be knocked out in the first round they play in (second if we get lucky). Rinse and repeat.

    No, no change.

He’s one of the most committed Derby fans I know… goes to every single game home and away. Not beyond the realms of possibility he might have some links. Not the sort of person to make stuff up.
