I'm sure the wrist slashes are out in force tonight but it's been obvious for a while now.... We need a total reset.
First and foremost - let's stay in business. Number one priority - get a new owner and as soon as possible.
Points deductions.... The squad is so poor, we'd struggle to avoid relegation even without a points deduction. That could be offset slightly by Bielik's return and acquisitions of forwards in January but, by then, it may be too late anyway.
So let's accept whatever points deductions the EFL want to throw at us, on condition that they're imposed this season. Then it's over and done with.
Assuming then that we're going down, let's start building for next season in League One.
That means blooding the youngsters that will still be with the club. Not playing each one in every game, not leaving out all the old pros. But giving each young'un experience alongside a mentor. For example Cashin playing with either Davies or Jagielka.
Assuming Bird, Knight and Bielik will go, playing Watson alongside Shinnie and Morrison. That kind of thing.
Rooney has been really dignified throughout these nightmare months but the jury is still out for him tactics wise. After the last couple of games, there are question marks against his motivational ability too. I wonder what Curtis was referring to regards the training sessions.
But anyhow, Rooney is the magnet for investors and deserves "a go" with a clean slate.
So let's put the bad stuff behind us, and start building this club up again. Even if it means losing the current crop of good young players and starting in League One.
One thing for sure, the support is fantastic. The fans deserve a club going forward, not sinking further into the mire. Let's get the crap out of the way. Move on up. COYR ?

So if we accept the need for a complete reset, shall we just wave the white flag with the EFL, get all the shizzle, embargoes etc out of the way and try to move on?

    We’re down.
Slow out from the back, no desire to get the tempo up from the defence.  Hollywood passes from midfield to the strikers.
    Striker link up play depressing.
Forget the admin points, and the incoming ffp points, we’d be down anyway if Mel had stayed on.

We believe the Administrators will now have started to contact all creditors of the club to invite them to a Creditors meeting.
If anyone is aware of anyone who has been contacted, could you let us know as soon as possible?

No, this is a standard part of the administration process. The administrators have to identify all creditors and contact them to invite them to a meeting within 8 weeks of being appointed. Ultimately they will have to agree the deal with the creditors to offer the best deal they can.

How can you compare Florist and us? As usual you’re making it sound comparable and yet the only comparison is league positions …that’s it!! don’t think they’re on an embargo are there? Players not paid? very thin squad? bereft of strikers ? Absolute nonsense ….whether Rooney is right for us or not he has been magnificent in how he’s dealt with the rubbish he’s had to deal with …in his first job …he hasn’t jacked it in or run away he’s stayed and remained dignified and that’s what we needed …we would’ve been in an even bigger mess if we had no manager no one pulling in players on short term deals etc etc he has been dealt a very difficult hand and to me is handling it well when we needed some form of stability when everything else was falling around our ears …give  the bloke a break he may not be right for us long term but I’ve welcomed his loyalty and shouldn’t be over scrutinised as this juncture that time will come but not now….just give the bloke a break for pity’s sake !!

    I agree with @RoyMac5.
People are essentially - cannot think of the right word, not lazy, not lethargic, not apethetic - but essentially they want someone else to do the work for them.
It's not just restricted to football. Look at child poverty, climate change - huge issues. There are a few activists but only a few. But if you asked anyone, they would say they are against children living in poverty or changes to the climate that will bring about untold damage to the world's ecosystem and economy. However, apart from ocassional donations to charity and a bit of recycling, those people are not joining the activists to demand change.
We all want a better outcome for our football club. RamsTrust and its members feel that they may - in some way - help to achieve that by their lobbying efforts.
If people on here - or elsewhere - do not want to join their organization, that's fine.
But some of the nitpicking on here is simply standing aside and picking fault with people for at least trying to do something positive.
That said, it does sound as though there are folks that do have some genuine issues with things that have happened in the past. I have not lived around Derby for some years now, it's only in the past couple of years that I have found this forum, so I do not know the detail of those complaints. So, I cannot comment on those.

What I would like to say though, is that if you would be interested in proactive action but you do have issues with RamsTrust, as it was or as it is, then you could either:
start another organization or join RamsTrust, take an active role and change it from within.

OK - thanks for this, useful input.
I have been in touch with David before with relation to meetings with the club, but not regards membership numbers etc. - similarly I haven't been in touch with any other forum in this respect. I'm not entirely sure it is relevant - message boards / forums are very different to supporter organisations set up to represent their members. David himself told me it is impossible to represent the views of this forum as everyone's views are different.
RamsTrust membership is on a par or higher with most Trusts at similar clubs. Some 'bigger clubs' (Man Utd etc.) obviously have many more members, and some smaller clubs where the Trust is involved in running their clubs have bigger membership (some include Trust membership in buying a season ticket). Obviously we would like membership numbers to be higher, but we have to accept that a number of supporters are never sufficiently motivated to get involved.
Trusts are largely seen as 'protest groups' and only attract interest in times of crisis for their clubs. RamsTrust itself was set up at the end of Lionel Pickering's reign when he ran out of money and the club was in crisis. Although we have continued throughout the following 19 years (doing all the things I have mentioned above), we have only attracted significant interest during times the club has been in trouble. As a result we have had limited interest in joining the Board during much of this time, and it has been left to a few of us to keep the Trust going - knowing that there would be another time we were needed (as now).
We have never made any particular effort to increase 'followers' - that is up to each individual if they are interested in what we are doing. Obviously the Trust was set up well before Twitter or Facebook so there was never a specific policy. I don't think comparisons with BAWT or any other group is relevant - we are very different organisations with different aims. This is not a competition.
The £2 fee is to buy a share and join the Trust - we have not charged a renewal fee for many years as our costs have reduced considerably now we can communicate electronically rather than physically printing and posting updates / newsletters / AGM invitations to every member. (So it is not £2 every year).
The Trust Board is elected by the members - we have annual elections and each position is for 3 years unless they choose to step down. The 'suitability' of the Directors is therefore up to the members - and dependent on new candidates putting themselves forward to replace existing members if they re-stand. The Officials are then elected each year after the AGM by the new board. I personally have offered to stand down as chair every year - and on 2 occasions over the past 10 years or so I have been replaced, then re-elected the following year. I don't relish this - I want more people to come forward and take on responsibility (it does take a lot of my time for no reward, and generally just criciticism when people disagree).
We also can appoint a limited number of co-optees to the Board for specific skills / experience. We currently have 3 co-optees as shown on the website.

The only advice I would offer to Jim and RT would be, please take care over wording of what you put out. It seems many people get their noses out of joint when they feel that you are speaking on their behalf. If all RT public communications ensure that the questions, opinions and other commentary are clearly on behalf of RT members and sympathisers, rather than having an air of speaking for all Rams supporters, I think it would go a long way to stopping bad feeling amongst general Rams fans. Even the most innocuous of comments will be objected to if it sounds like you are speaking for people who you never consulted with.

I think there are some very valid challenges in the above post, which I will leave for Jim to answer, but for me it depends whether we want to spend our time debating the past history of Rams Trust or recognising that there are genuine attempts to change and to try and work through as many channels as possible to acheive that at a time when the club is in crisis.
I am not sure the comparison with BAWT is too helpful. They are 14 (I think) well established Twitter posters, who already have big followings on there. I would wager a lot of Rams Trust members never go anywhere near the platform and I only found their twitter presence recently.
Also, BAWT have stated their aim is to bring together fan groups so it doesn't seem right to start a competition between them.
Surely each fan constituency has a valid place in supporter liaison and I don't think any of the fan groups would argue against this. It doesn't change the fact that Rams Trust are the constituted organisation that is part of the FSA and therefore has that "official" place at the table.
Now we can either moan about that, or get stuck in there to make their job of representing a wide range of supporters a bit easier.
I personally can't comment on the Rams Trust board, I was only aware of Jim before I joined. I have since spoken to a couple of others by email but that is all.

That is obviously very difficult to answer, because firstly all recent meetings with the club have been with other supporters groups so were not RamsTrust alone.
Secondly it is very difficult to tell whether the club would have done what they did without our advice.
For example, at the last meeting we recommended that the club reopen the ticket office, send out season tickets, increase staff in the ticket office etc. (but again these may have been planned anyway). In the last mtg with Mel Morris there was a lot of discussion over whether to sign the 'trialists' (Jagielka, Morrison, Davies, Allsop, Baldock) or promote talent from the Academy. Mel seemed to be arguing it was better to use the academy, whereas the view from the reps there was that we needed more experience. I think he may have been using the group as a sounding board before making a decision.
In the past there has been discussion on season ticket prices (e.g. When they tried to increase prices for disabled supporters), forming a 'singing section' at the ground, etc...
I am sure some people will say supporters had no influence, but I am certain the club takes views into account. Any business that ignores its customers is going to fail.
The meetings also gave representatives the opportunity to question the club on approach and finances. This enables us to hold the club to account, and meant we could highlight in the media when we had concerns so that all supporters could be aware.
