  1. That's bad in two ways: 1. I agree with your assessment 2. I agree with you
  2. Not a very convincing display. MOTM: Elder. Indeed, he was just about the only one to emerge with much credit. Chance to go top of the league? Err, I don't think so.
  3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68061773 No repeat pitch invasion.
  4. Actually, there are better photos that I should have used but, if nothing else, it will start another conversation about the badge.
  5. I thought Garibaldi was a biscuit named after some revolutionary What have either got to do with them? Oh the colour red. Duh. Or just that they're full of currants
  6. But...but... Wildsmith has never played for Rotherham and doesn't have much of a beard.
  7. Happy ending obviously. But terrible second half. It was obvious to everyone - except those on the Derby bench - what was happening. Why didn't Warne change anything?
  8. Sibley on. Good move. Goal scoring, attacking midfielder. Put him at left back.🤦‍♂️
  9. As difficult as it is to predict who will go on to a successful career, you'd hope that the Academy staff would have a pretty good idea. That's why we pay them the big bucks. Oh wait...
  10. I was just about to say "oh no, not another 'Warne out' thread".
  11. Ah yes, you're right. Thanks. I knew I was frustrated about something, it was them scoring when they were down to nine.
  12. Yeah, I was at that game. 3 players sent off for Newcastle and I think we only won one-nil. The time that sticks most in my mind was a game against Chelsea when all routes back to the bus station were closed off. Ran a lot of miles that day. Still, I suppose it helped keep you fit.
  13. Not that easy at the BBG. The route for home fans to the bus station was the same as the route for away fans to the railway station. For a bona fide coward like myself, I expected to have to 'run away' as part of the matchday experience.
  14. Navy Blue - to match next season's shorts 😉
  15. Or maybe Warne simply realised he had to adapt tactics to the players available. Either way, I'm glad of the transition.
  16. I think it's changed - the ball is played to feet a lot more, rather than just pumped down the channels in hope. Consequently, we retain the ball more, stretch the opposition and create more and better chances. I'm all for it 🐏
