  1. Play along back three.... diagonal ball to winger (sometimes overhit, and goes out of play) by the time the winger has recieved the ball, closed down. Turn, play ball back to defender. start process again. The teams we are playing are not of great quality but we have become very predictable, easy to set up against. when the opposition get the ball (sometimes through player error or bad pass) they run at us putting the defence under pressure, again potentially leading to player error. This is something we are not currently doing because of our ponderous build up play, allowing them to get organised. we have the players of ability but we are very rarely turning the opposition players around and getting them running at their own goal.

It's strange as the obvious conclusion that must be drawn is that whilst confronting someone making offensive comments might not be the wisest course of action doing nothing to report such abuse to a person who could act upon is viewed as condoning the behaviour in itself.

Given that a number of years ago and at great expense, cameras were placed within football grounds to single out individuals who were causing any sort of problem. Why should individual members of the public put themselves at risk by bringing this to the authorities attention. I fail to understand that with the increase not just with chanting of an innappropriate nature but also in object throwing at football grounds, why they are not identified (using this modern technology) and banned from attending future games?
