  1. He does have a point though…. If we just keep going down the flanks then Cambridge will just double up and shut us out..
  2. It helps to talk and share- especially at tense and stressful times 👍😎 To be honest i am so bloody nervous i almost can’t bear to watch the Cambridge game 😳🐏🐏🐏🐏
  3. Obviously we have been fixated on Bolton and their results lately… but Peterborough to me are actually the bigger danger if we become complacent and screw up at Cambridge- i can see Posh winning all their last three games and with a very positive GD.. the gap in that GD looks large now , but as we have seen Posh are very capable of some 5-0 games when they are on it… Yes, they supposedly have a few injuries now, but the window is still open for them… We need to win Saturday mo matter how we do it. COYR 🐏🐏🐏
  4. I agree. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. Yes, we are one step closer but that’s all- the way things have gone lately u almost feel that the drama isn’t over yet.😳 We need an early goal at Cambridge.
  5. Credit to Bolton though- when they were behind (and despite being without their midfield talisman) they kept playing their football. A lesson our guys need to take into Saturday - and to not panic and rush things like they did at Wycombe .
  6. Now that really would get us noticed!👍👍😎👏
  7. Helped by a manic crowd right in the ref’s ear…😎
  8. Makes u wonder what PW’s approach will be if it’s 0-0 or 1-1 with 20 to go …. go for the win (as he says we always do- although watching us play one finds that hard to believe) or settle for the draw and take it into the last game knowing that we might not even need a point on the day …
  9. U have to start wondering about Pompey and those penos… and the conspiracy theory… Yet another dodgy one given at Fratton Park…. How can Pompey have been given as many penos as Bolton and us combined !!?! Shows the value of having a loud and boisterous crowd right next to the pitch ! Plus the normal saaarthen club bias of course…. But nah, that’s me being paranoid I’m sure 😎 Surely we can’t mess this up now …😳 🐏🐏🐏
  10. Irony being that he has made it very clear that he views himself as a champo player and that he didn’t come here to play L1 football all his contract…. And yet if we did get promoted I just don’t think he would be good enough and wouldn’t get game time 🤷
  11. BW likely to win easily. Key is that we want it to be by no more than one goal re GD…. 2 at most….
  12. Bottom line- we need to get him in the summer. Period.
  13. Didn’t he also join them on a free ???
  14. Well, yes, that’s true and a fair point…
  15. Surely it can’t and won’t be the third part of the awful away day trilogy after The cobblers and Wycombe !?😳😳 i fear for the worst if I am honest. Small, bobbly, dry pitch. Cambridge scrapping for their lives …. Has all the makings.. Strange thing is that we really in many ways want Cambridge to win mid week and Port Vale to lose as that really guarantees Cambridge survival and then they would maybe be less fired up against us. But then again we need Port Vale to go into their game with Bolton on Saturday not effectively having been already relegated and with something to fight for…..🤷
  16. The main reason they loaned him out was because he’d had these big injuries and they not only wanted to get him match fit but also to see how he played. Both of those boxes have been ticked. I think most of us believe he can do it in the Championship- why would Cardiff now think differently? They obviously thought so when they bought him. But at the end of the day it will come down to how much we want to pay for him. Thorne helped us by agitating for a move, but I don’t see Ebou doing that…
  17. DPFG ! He was a major cog in the wheel 👍
  18. Classic George Thorne scenario in that we all want the Club to buy Adams. However, whilst many existing players will leave end of season (some who are on big money wages) it’s still likely that the actual transfer fee pot will be relatively small. Cardiff will have been monitoring Adams’ performance this season and even if they are prepared to entertain a sale I can see them holding out for a decent fee- certainly more than we paid for CBT (maybe they will take an exchange!!?👍). Anyway, if that sale went through it will take a large chunk of that transfer pot. Guess what I am saying is that we almost buy Ebou just to stand still. Surely any money left will have to go on a class striker. Gonna be tough unless we get some decent ‘investment’ from somewhere.. I hate us being poor’ 😟
  19. Great interview…. Except that Leicester aren’t ‘as big as, if not bigger’ than the mighty Rams. 🐏🐏
  20. Should be….. but were u at Wycombe or Northampton..????😳😳 No chickens counted…
  21. Loved it yesterday when he kept doing the little dropped shoulder shimmy then came inside and moved upfield… through the middle….
  22. Interesting reaction to the stand after he scored… ‘defiant’ might sum it up. Seemed to take the players an age to get to him to congratulate…
  23. Indeed. A win for Wycombe against Port Vale also helps in order to take any mathematical possibility out of the equation . 👍 Come on u Shrews !😎
  24. Also helps if u have a tricky player like Kamara and a home crowd that -just like the good old days- is right on top of the action and able to pressurize players/refs.
