DCFC27 got a reaction from Magicman in Lewis Dobbin
We very short out wide, presume he’s being signed as a winger

DCFC27 got a reaction from chadlad in Knight at RB
Not for me. It’s a waste as he’s got so much energy and he’s good on the ball. we need him involved as much as possible.
He played really well at RB but he has so much more to offer.

DCFC27 got a reaction from norwichram in Nathan Byrne - Joined Charlotte FC
I think I'm in the minority here but with Byrne I have slightly more respect for as he hasn't actually signed for anyone else yet. Hasn't come out and said anything derogatory.
He's been given advice saying DCFC are in the wrong. DCFC have been given advice saying Byrne is in the wrong. He's waiting on an outcome. It probably wouldn't right for him to be with the squad, on either party. DCFC don't want someone with an active dispute in training. Byrne can't really train with us as it might prejudice his case.
If Derby turn out to be in the right, I'd give him the opportunity to rejoin the squad and play. (Albeit, probably with an apology) Buchanan however is playing for another club right now.

He’s our longest serving player by a mile.

I’ve heard our business plan is really not very strict, it would be if you were trying to compete at the top of the championship but at the moment it’s not affecting the decisions we’re making.

DCFC27 got a reaction from GenBr in Starting 11 v Oxford
We have the young right back from city. Knight has played there. He’d be at least 3rd choice Rb. Naive from you I believe. We’d even start that Brighton loanee or cashin before Stearman

DCFC27 got a reaction from EtoileSportiveDeDerby in Jason Knight
As in EFL restrictions rather than owner imposed. Clowes will be very prudent.

DCFC27 reacted to Carnero in Starting 11 v Oxford
Stearman will not start a single game at right back this season.

DCFC27 got a reaction from Carl Sagan in Early signs are good at bradford city
Err don't think this is a new "woke" issue. I think for decades it's been widely inappropriate to describe someone solely on the colour of their skin. Really inappropriate. Obviously nothing meant by it, but it's worth picking it up and saying. "Appreciate nothing meant by it B4 but referring to someone solely on the colour of their skin can be offensive, try describing them in another for example... ". No massive woke war of words needed just a PM from one of the mods, probably the post removing/editing and move on.

Deliberately ignoring point. Would you feel comfortable. Haven’t not met them before. Describing them in that way to them directly.
This isn’t a police report. We’ve just watched the player for 45 minutes. You can pick up more than the colour of their skin.

I think my time would be wasted attempting to educate you on this. Suppose my parting remark would be; Having not met the lad Would you feel comfortable describing him like that?

No. I believe he would like to be know as a football player and not defined by the colour of his skin.
There are far more ways to describe someone than the colour of their skin, especially on a football pitch where you have multiple options -
position
number
style of play
left foot/right foot
etc etc.
Just to let you know 2022 btw…
