Really fun away day today. Some poor play in the final 10 minutes but I have to say when we turn it on, we're class.
Enjoying watching Derby at the moment

Not been back long. Massive traffic problems going to Bolton, marginally better coming home.
The first half was not good to watch,  better for us second half.
Some people on here thought Bolton were pretty good. I would rather say they were effective, to a degree. They seemed to have embraced the notion that the best way to get out of this league is to play like a herd of neanderthals. It also helps to get a majority of key decisions go your way, whether they should or not, although from a Rams perspective that us pretty much a “written in stone” EFL rule. So there was the hauling down of NML as he was about to go into the area, with the ref staring at it and giving nothing. It should have bern a yellow card. Or Sibley's run out of defence towards the centre circle when he was blatantly pulled back 5 or 6 times, in full view once more, until he lost balance and had the ball taken off him, setting up a dangerous Bolton attack, and nothing given. Plus the two penalties. The ref was better than some we gave endured, but that isn’t much of a compliment, is it?
It seems Warne adjusted our tactics to something akin to Bolton-ball, as there was considerably more high ball stuff than normal and held our own quite well. We dealt with their physical approach and dished a bit back as well. Good on you, Derby. We would have bern overcome by it under Rosenior, and probably have lost the match last season. Instead we more than matched them for threatening football.
Fozzy was awesome, and it was good to see Max putting it about as well. And it was an ideal type pf game for Jason Knight. As ever Hourihane disappointed, managing one good cross and a couple of blocks all game, and should have been subbed. 83 minutes was way too late to bring Soula on, and he should have replaced Collins who was poor today. Warme does seem to like him, probably for his rumbustious style. But bringing Dobbin changed the game noticeably, putting us in the driving seat. Even Bolton’s endless supply of substitutions didn’t being the game back to them.
I am well happy with today’s point, we are in the top 6, and ahead of the mid-table security many of us thought was do-able, all achieved with a load of bits-and-bobs and unwanteds. Pretty dam good, really!
    Right, Cambridge. You’re next!

I thought this was worth a bump as it’s 1 year since @Boycie started this thread.  That was after CK withdrew the first time and later that day we were told the PB wasn’t far off.
What a year it’s been of mixed emotions and to use a football phrase it really has been a year of 2 halves!!  The first half dominated by worries whether we would survive, marches, dodgy claims, statements, PB’s in then out again, who would own the ground, media exposure on national news, parliament debates, etc.  All met with unity and a fighting spirit from the club, the team and the fans. The second half and DC has taken us over and it’s back to football matters - signings, formations, team selections, performances, managers, etc and what a relief it is.
How far we’ve come and how things have changed in the last year.  And how lucky we are that David Clowes stepped in when he did, even if it wasn’t in his mind this time last year.
    Merry Christmas ?!!

Total f****** dross today. I'll still take the point and move on against a top 3 side of course(!) but this was the worst 90 minutes of football I've seen all season and both sides to blame.
    How are they third??

In the Town Centre you've got the Castle, the Stanley near the station, wetherspoons and on walk to the ground, the grey horse and the crown. Any pub will welcome away fans. Further away in Clayton-le-moors ( 1.5 miles) the Albion is run by our former commercial manager.

More than 3 and a half years since your last visit to the Wham Stadium, it's that time again when Ram's fans descend on our little corner of East Lancashire.
I'm Robert, the Supporter Liaison Officer at Stanley and if there's anything you need to know about your visit on Saturday, just ask here and I'll do my best to answer.

I just want to say how lucky you are to have Paul Warne as manager. I've supported the millers for 69 years. Obviously, I've seen managers come and go during that period. As far as I'm concerned, and many other fans Warne is the best manager we've had.
Like Derby fans we went through some dark times. Administration points deducted, lost our ground, forced to play in Sheffield in an athletic stadium. No atmosphere, 4 years in the 4th division.
Paul has many qualities. Excellent staff management, a workaholic. He's articulate, honest and will live and breathe Derby County.
I thank him for all the memories, 3 Wembley wins 3 promotions and I wish him well and as a consequence wish the Rams well. I've never had a second team, but for the first time Derby County will be my second team. I look forward to seeing Paul succeed.
Hopefully Derby will be promoted and we survive in the championship and look forward to see you at the New York stadium.
    All the best.
