  1. If we don't many will suggest Warne needs to get the sack.
  2. They. have Rupert the Bear all over them, so I think a red was called for.
  3. Started it last night and it looks promising one episode in.
  4. Watched the first 4 episodes of Suburraeterna the follow up to the excellent Italian crime drama, Suburra. Crap. Horrible and distracting soundtrack. Odious characters all over acting and clumsy, convoluted script. Very disappointing, made worse by the fact we went from The Sopranos into that steaming pile.
  5. I've done 18 or 19 and I love them tbh! Having said that, not done one since I quit drinking so I'm not sure they quite have the same appeal!
  6. New Year's Day, a potential top-two place on offer; I imagine and hope PP will be rockin'!
  7. Finally gone through the entire 7 (8 really, as the last one was 21 episodes) season of The Sopranos. Never seen any before, and I have no earthly clue why not. It may be the best thing I have ever seen on TV, and I can see why it was the most watched non-network drama in US TV history. Outstanding acting with brilliant, insightful and at times, hilarious, scriptwriting. Such depth to it and a real commentary not just on the mafia, but life in general, as they all deal with the same crap we all deal with. I doubt many of you good folk haven't seen it, but if you haven't, you need to. CahrlieGeorge/10 with some Colin Todd thrown in.
  8. I watched that a few weeks ago. Pretty good. Not convinced by Timberlakes acting but Del Toro was outstanding.
  9. Is that what Cloughie thought of McGovern or what many of the fans did? What channel is it on?
  10. Yeah, it's not even close. The standard of drama the BBC turns out compared to ITV is insane. We can always find something great on iPlayer, but we rarely watch ITVX. It's utter pants. Having said that, after moving back from the US I looked forward to starting to watch QoS and boy, was I disappointed. Drivel. I watched a couple and don't think I made it through either before giving up.
  11. On the way to Florida I decded to rewatch The Godfather trilogy. My goodness those first two that I'd not seen in 20 years were sooooo good. Almost flawless acting, direction and script. I watched the 3rd on the way home, in as mentioned above, a horrible mood and feeling sick because I presumed that I'd overreacted with Part 3. So maybe I'm overreacting. But, jeez, it was an utter trainwreck of biblical proportions. Sofia Copella would have been laughed off the set of Crossroads, Eli Walch was almost as bad, and Al Pacino was hamming it up too. Even the ending was laughingly bad. It's incomprehensible to me that it was Coppola and Puzo involved and that it scored 7.6 in IMDb.
  12. Inside with Willem Defoe - not sure when it came out. High end art thief gets trapped inside a penthouse apartment without food, water (kinda) or any communication method. Even the TV is on the fritz. Weird af and I have no clue what the ending meant. Then again, I was flying home from Florida feeling sick as a dog with the flu that had kept me in bed all week and wanting to die. The film just made me want to die faster. BillyCaskey/10
  13. Isn't that a spin off series? That character was in another Dutch series about two cops going undercover that I think originally was based on true events around e smuggling. First season was ok but the second was terrible.
