I’ve been quite critical of Warne but he’s just spent weeks out with a serious injury. Warne probably knew he could only get 1 start out of him this week in his return to fitness so risked him against a tougher in paper Blackpool team than Cheltenham? 

Got something of Wanchope about him, the way he brings the ball down with those long legs and backs in to hold off the tackle! Really enjoyed watching his performances building in the last few games.

Fornah looks the standout to me, gives us athleticism in midfield and can carry the ball forward well and pick a pass.

Anthony Gordon is giving me Gareth Bale vibes now he is filling out. He has started the season really well and will only get better. He looks physically powerful when he gets going and Newcastle look a far more dangerous side when he is playing.
I’d start Gordon on the left ahead of Rashford who is seriously overrated, and Maddison who would be wasted out wide.
Having Rice holding, Bellingham and Foden centrally ahead in two 8s, plus Gordon, Saka and Kane. That is an amazing front six.

I can see Luton getting about 25 points and Sheffield United a few points more than that. They are not that bad unless they sack their manager bring in some clown and have a toxic atmosphere in the squad can't see them getting under 20 points. 

You make some very good points in your post but I have to pick up on one thing....
Some of us who are dissatisfied with Warne are not basing it on 4 or 5 games, the performances or results, or judging it on the new players that he's brought in and who are still settling in and/or overcoming injuries, or even the efforts of the players.
No, we are basing it on the impressions we have formed of his tactical approach over the year that he's been in charge.
Warne has been here for over a year. He hasn't merely presided over 4 or 5 games. 
He has had time to lay the foundations for how the team should play and how the club should be run.
Yet, it seems, he's been forced to change formation from 352 to 4231 by injuries and Bradley's poor form.
He places too much emphasis on scoring goals from set pieces rather than enterprising football.
He rarely gets team selection or substitutions right in my view - Blackpool was an obvious exception.
For someone who claims to live and breathe football, it's surprising that the reports are that he hasn't been to a single academy game - and doesn't even know the names of some of their star performers. That's hardly providing an incentive to the kids.
If, as we're told, Warne was brought in to establish a tone for the club as a whole, he shouldn't be merely focused on the first team. The club have - rightly in my view - had an emphasis on having a Grade 1 academy. The impression is that Warne does not share that same interest.
So, you see, those of us who do not think Warne is a good fit for Derby County are basing it on far more than a handful of poor results at home.
We are concerned about the overall direction of the club, team tactics and the development of young players.

He's probably on about par if we win on Saturday, with our team in this division and the budget top 4 should be a minimum really this season.  Wouldn't surprise me if we go up but tbh he isn't the man for Derby long term imo. Long term doesn't matter this year as long as we go up but due to play style and other factors if we are not top 6 will be alot of people wanting him out come new year.

Clubs should be listed or something really. Normally if something is more than 100 years old and if significant cultural importance to a community it gets some sort of protection. 

1 win doesn't change my opinion. I hope he keeps winning and doesn't care about my opinion.
But Saturday irrefutably showed he didn't recognise the issues within the game. He's still yet to show he can adapt when Plan A for a given game doesn't go his way.  So, let's just hope Plan A works more often and he figures about a better Plan A at Pride Park as that is threatening to de-rail the entire season.

Yep , but we are not playing Man City or Arsenal so the home fans expect us to dominate against the worst bunch of teams ever to come to PP for a league game . But I would take counter- attacking football away from home all day long.

The football at home and winning only 1 game at home against Fleetwood and looking bang average against teams with lower budgets. Our away form has been great though and I expect a win on Saturday given how bad Cheltenham are ,Warne will be judged on if we can adapt to play against teams sitting back against us at home where we have to be beating everyone 10th and lower if we want to push for top 2 which we should be doing in this poor league.

Nyambe and Fornah look great signings,  if we can get better at breaking teams down at home we should be looking to be top 4minimum. We might play rubbish and finish top 2 this season.

Just grates that people start acting like everything is fine and dandy and people are deluded to even ever had the gaul to criticise Warne after a win when there's still massive room for improvement, this is league 1 and top 6 is the minimum expectation. I'm just keeping my eyes focused on the bigger picture. It's ridiculous that people have to polarise things we have massive work to do to get to the levels we need still.

I'm not pessimistic about our chances I'm more neutral, just frustrated that winning very well tonight leads to stupid  comments from fans saying any criticism of Warne has been unjustified seen us play 5 home games and not win once this season and have seen us play some very very poor football as well. Away from home is the easy job for Warne because our players have the quality to just be too good on the break in this league, he will earn his stripes turning our home form better without Mcgoldrick who alongside Mendez Laing was absolutely crucial for us at home last season and we would have been about 13th without them.
