Warne’s one thing on his Cv is he’s got 3 promotions out of League one. It was a very big ask to get into autos this year especially ally given the form of the top 3. But to not even get into the playoffs is a failure from Warne of epic proportions

The way I read it is I expected this season to be a challenge as it would take new players time to blend. So for Warne to take us from 7th when we were still trying to blend players together to 7th at end of season is a pretty spectacular  failure by Warne. 

Warne took us from 7th to 7th, excellent work from the league 1 master.

As a Plastic, I agree with you. This deal does nothing to enhance the experience of a match-attending football supporter. But no one should be surprised by that. Football sold its body and soul many, many years ago, and die-hard supporters have been royally f***** ever since.

That's how it always is though. There's some grain of truth somewhere, but he runs with it without checking anything properly.  He clearly isn't just making random stuff up or anything, but he does stuff like this often enough that you can't take anything he says at face value IMO.
He implied that the company that did our admin had gone bust, and that's obviously not the case here. He's previously tweeted about Derby having to pay HMRC 100% under their new settlement rules, which also wasn't true.  A while back he tweeted something about one of Mel Morris companies that was based in Pride Park being liquidated, without realising Pride Park isn't just the stadium, it's a big business park with loads of companies on.  And that's just the stuff I know about because it's relevant to us.

And stuff like this is why I don't trust Maguire on anything - spots something somewhere, immediately jumps on Twitter to show off and then ends up having to delete the tweet when it turns out it was nonsense.

They are not better than us, they just beat us because we were absolutely terrible on the day, not the same as coming away thinking they are a better team than us. . 

We lost 4 out of 4 against Ipswich and Plymouth but you can discount them as they are not going to be in the play offs. We beat Bolton, Barnsley and drew v Sheff Wed. We are in with a chance. Collins goal on Saturday showed what a good finisher he is, I think he has been really unlucky loads of near misses.  If we stop being unlucky in front of goal, who knows anything can happen.

I don't know what Wendy and Barnsley fans know about Derby other than what they saw in the games against their clubs and what's been on TV. Barnsley lost 2 out of 3 against us and Sheff Wed were second best to us in the game we played against them.  As for TV games all of those shown by Sky so far have been away games, for some bizarre reason none at home.  At home, the only teams who have been better than Derby at PPS have been Ipswich and Plymouth.
