It is true that there a lot of people who do not want to recognise that October 7 took place. When the video was shown by a Jewish businessman the showing had to be done secretly to avoid protests . Posters of the missing hostages are regularly posted in London and torn down within hours by protesters. There are a very large number of people who do not want to recognise Jews as the victims. 

I referred to Nazi Germans specifically to acknowledge the fact that we were at war with the Nazis, not with the Germans as a people. The horrors of the war are that innocent civilians ( French as well as Germans) were killed in large numbers.

 It's not a smear and there have been opinion surveys conducted. I was making the broader point that conflict has a tendency to polarise opinions further entrenching pre-conceived differences. 

Points-wise, the target should be the magical 2 points per game over the season - 62 points from our next 29 games (2.13 ppg). A tough ask, since the best our 12 game rolling average hasn't been above 2 since our good run ended last season. Outside of the first 4 games of the season, we haven't been too far off the pace, so the least we need to do until January is maintain our recent league form. We can then strengthen in January.
Our targets depend on intended formation - we either stick with the asymmetrical 4231, or we go back to 3412.
4231 = extending Nyambe's contract, signing a DM, 1 winger and a CF

Other signings would depend on departures.
The one difference is winger vs wing back. This is why I would go after Demetri Mitchell from Exeter - he can play in either position (as well as almost everywhere else on the pitch), allowing us to change between the two formations when it suits us. He's out of contract in the summer, and Exeter will likely want to cash in whilst they can. He has the 5th highest attacking contribution in the league (2nd highest winger), and is one of the best dribblers in the league All whilst playing in one of the worst sides in the division.
I like the look of Arthur Read at Colchester. He's perfectly suited to being Hourihane's replacement. He takes a good set piece, contributes to open play assists and goals, but importantly does a lot of the dirty work defensively. Only 24, but has 18 months left on his contract
For CF, my top pick would be Al Hamadi, but interest will be high, including Championship clubs - I think we'll be priced out of it. There appears to be few forwards worth signing from Championship clubs who aren't playing much, and there is also a lack of options in the SPL at the moment. Any forwards would have to be on loan from PL clubs, such as Callum Marshall or Divin Mubama (both West Ham). 
I can see Sibley moving on to make something of his career. In which case, I would try to poach Dan Kemp, currently on loan at Swindon. Arguably the best AM in L2 this season, providing goals and assists.

Interesting that Warne brought JJ on ahead of Waghorn. And of course it paid dividends straightaway. All our ageing strikers have played a part so far but I’ve always thought we needed some fresh legs. Hopefully JJ can stay fit and play a big part and if so maybe extend his loan after Jan. 

Well instead of tit for tat scaling up (which incidentally I don’t see Israel’s response as that anyway) we go down a tit for tat scaling down .. the hostage/ prisoner exchange is a good start. The big step is Israel ( without Netanyahu) recognising Palestine and vice versa. The devil I think is in the detail which is why I think previous attempts at a two State solution have failed. 

Yeah look where the ball is when NML plays it. It's already well into the dark green stripe, and TJJ is still in the pale stripe behind it. Can't be offside if you are behind the ball when it's played!

In the end, it was great play (by both NML & TJJ), and good decisions all round (Including the officials).

I actually think that Israel’s attacks are less reckless than say the Allies on Dresden. But it’s different times now we have computers to help teach targets. 
I don’t regard either as murder but probably Dresden was a reckless error by Churchill. 
in answer to another question what is proportionate can only be decided in context of the end game. Hiroshima and Nagasaki unimaginably horrific though they were ended World war 2 which had cost 55 million lives. If the ultimate aim is ever lasting peace in the Middle East who knows what is proportionate.

So I could call you a murderer or paedo and that would be ok? I mean who cares about the legal minutiae that you might not actually be a murderer why quibble about such minor legal technicalities? 

So it isn’t legally genocide ( which is what I have been saying all along, stop using inflammatory language) but that won’t stop some social scientists calling it that anyway? 

It is horrific loss of life whichever way you look at it.
