  1. Just had a look through your recent posts. Woeful.
  2. Yeah, but we were poor then, back in the top division. Travelling army is too big these days!
  3. A guy I know who is a Wycombe fan has been saying all season that they have changed/been trying to change their style of play, which is a reason why they aren't been as successful as previous seasons. I can't remember much about the home game earlier in the season, but don't think tonight's game will be the typical Wycombe we've seen in previous seasons, especially at their place. This will hopefully help us, as we didn't do well against them. However, we are more equipped to deal with that sort of threat now though.
  4. Maybe a new thread needed? Things you grew up believing that you still don't know if true!
  5. I still believe it's bad for you if you swallow it. Is that true?
  6. All true, but it's even more of a must win for Bolton first, not just to prevent themselves falling further behind us, but they still have Pompey and Peteboro to play in their final 5 games. In Bolton's last 5 games, they've won 2, drew 2 and lost 1. They may go on a win all 5, making it 6 wins on the row to finish with, but they aren't exactly in the type of form that suggests they will do that, especially with 2 top teams left to play (Peteboro might be resting by final game though). Based on both our recent and longer term results, winning our 4 seems much more doable, based on who we are playing. Wycombe away is toughest game, but their Cup final tips it more in our favour. Cambridge will probably be safe on final day too. 4 teams 10th and below, probably with nothing to play for, is an attractive set of fixtures.
  7. Surely someone from Lincoln must be included?
  8. What you wrote makes perfect sense. However, this is Wycombe. They would be in the Champions League semi final, if it hadn't been for Clowes and Warne and all their cheating. Yes, a trophy would be nice. But hell hath no fury like a chair scorned 2 seasons before they went down.
  9. Might be worth walking up to Wembley Central and getting the overland back to Euston. I've gone there after playoff finals and relatively quiet.
  10. Wycombe going to have issues with the EFL now too. Can't believe they scheduled their cup final just a few days after a cup final.
  11. I guess Egg and Spoon racing is sort of a sport?
  12. A great game and a really good result. Maybe we should all not reply to Bris and definitely not that ap thing. There are going to be lots of fans returning from the game, full of excitement or pride or disappointment, wondering why this matchday thread is not about the game.
  13. If you are a reasonable and moderate Israeli, you must be worried about the future. Most support and goodwill will be ebbing away across the world. Worrying too that the government are democratically elected. What does it say about the state of the electorate? If Israel do become properly isolated, they are facing a very dangerous future. How many Palestinians will they continue to slaughter before this happens though? The military were against the government before it all kicked off. Perhaps there needs to be a milatry coup in Israel asap to save Israel. Offer peace, a proper 2 state solution, no more settlements, and economic aid in return for the hostages. Plus the people who organised the initial attacks, alongside Netenyaru and friends, to The Hague.
  14. Bit harsh, if he gets us up it will be our first promotion in nearly 20 years!
  15. I think VAR is rubbish and ruins football. Obviously would have benefited us, but I don't want to see extremely marginal offsides goals, or accidental handballs in buildup, ruling goals out. Glad no VAR below Prem. All those pathetic handball penalties too! VAR was not brought in for these type of decisions, but it's mostly used for them. It was so good in that first World Cup.
  16. Sorry again, think chat gpt had a new version and things keep going wrong.
  17. Sorry everyone, I made this post with my Bris AI. It's very repetitive, posts the same "hot take" every match thread. Sorry for boring you all, I'm working on it.
  18. See you back on here After the Goalrush.
  19. Not much end to end action tonight, cagey game and few goals. Don't think it will oscillate widly.
  20. Someone give Clatters a shout at that price.
  21. He's a Millwall fan. And a great journo.
  22. Geez, you mods have powers beyond what I imagined!
  23. It is, but Bolton now play before us twice on the row, so will trying to put pressure onto us. They can't be too confident for 6 points from Reading and Bristol Rovers, before they play Pompey.
