I was told on numerous occasions that the fact Knight had MOTM in 3 internationals in a year including against France and the Ukraine was irrelevant as he played for Ireland and they were crap, totally ignoring the fact that those squads all had eight players currently in the premier league and a player of the season at a top half championship club.  1.7 million and a bloke of their wage bill who managed 7 games was a great deal as he'd been brilliant in League 2 and Knight wasn't a good enough arborist as he tree cutting was crap or something along those lines.

Count me in as looking for the Oasis in the desert as my delusions carry on.  This club should be comfortably mid table top flight as a regular occurrence with the occasional push for Europe and a few years in the championship intermittently.  14 years is a mere pee in 140 years and way outside the norm.

Most over rated player in my 30 years watching. I don’t get the hype. If he was that good we wouldn’t keep losing to very average teams in a very average league. Don’t know he’s playing half the Time, physically weak and not athletic at all. Ok on the ball but nothing special.

Genuinely curious mate but how do you explain a team like Wigan who lost 16 players this summer managing to look like a solid cohesive ball playing unit on day one of the season compared to our collection of individuals who seem to have no idea what they are supposed to do? It can only be down to the manager and his coaching staff can’t it? 
This tonight is a shambles so far and there is no defending it or the coaching staff.

Not pleasant, I'll search for the footage of him hoping they wind up in League 1 and how much he loves scoring against them.

Deadly quiet.  I saw a lot of kids on their phones yesterday.  God knows what they're doing as I may as well be on the moon for the time I'm in there. They looked bored to be there.  If the quality stays the same  I reckon they'll be having family Saturdays out at Drayton Manor or sat at home playing some FIFA game against a bloke in the Azores in a month.  Turning up regardless of result isn't like the old days I'm afraid, there are plenty of other options for entertainment and they'll take it.

Yes.  If it's warranted.  Good managers can even do that 2 or 3 times a game.
