We are still being linked with Sharpe, I'd have him. no animosity here,
he's a professional footballer and would soon change peoples minds with his first
goal!

To bring things back into focus for @IlsonDerby’s benefit, I think this should be the lineup for Saturday. With a bench of Vickers (if fit), Wilson, Rooney, Thompson, Washington, Barkhuizen (if fit), Waghorn (if signed).
NML and Bird to get into those attacking areas to support Collins as they have in pre-season, Forsyth offering a more solid option than Thompson on the left who can come on to rest Fozzy’s legs once we’re comfortably in the lead.

Can't wait. 30k in the stadium and a fresh season to look forward to. Magic.
Great opportunity, given the sorry state they're in. Feel for them, but we really need to get the season off and running with 3 points.
Lots of talk about recruitment, but I feel we're well ahead of last season just in terms of players in their proper positions. Elder, Washington, Barks and Sibley will be missing from the line up, but the side that started yesterday has plenty to be optimistic about.

I’ve heard he turned up on a Yamaha, did a skid, killed a kid and hit his head on a dustbin lid.

DesertRam got a reaction from Ram1988 in Martyn Waghorn - signed a 1-year deal
Was hoping this would happen, can certainly do us a job in league one - would have him back in a heartbeat,
definitely a better option than Rhodes

A player I've always been impressed with is Marc Albrighton, he's 33
now but would be fantastic as a season long loan from Leicester.
Don't think he's had much game time under current manager!!

Can’t pick a team yet until a couple of quality strikers come in. The signings so far have been about as exiting as Duffield Car Boot.

DesertRam got a reaction from archram in RAMS TV
Fantastic job done by everyone concerned, no criticism here, I can't imagine
living so far without RAMSTV
Hoping you are definitely going to show more content/matches..
ie. a weekly discussion with PW on how he's getting on with new signings etc would
be great (obviously don't expect him to give anything away) and a real morale
booster
It wasn't until I saw the article that I realized we had Women's Academy teams and that the
U20s were unbeaten all season. So anything on stuff like this would be phenomenal 👍

DesertRam reacted to FlyBritishMidland in RAMS TV
Midweek games are always a struggle for me due to work so I’ve watched a a few home and away games on Rams TV this season, and have done since the COVID season. I really enjoy it and, for club TV, the coverage is reasonably impartial. I might be biased but I prefer it to Sky TV!! It a shame the new TV deal phases it out in the UK.
As has been mentioned, I’d love to see the “Rams TV Meets” brought back. It’s really interesting to get an ex-players insight into their careers, especially their t8me with the Rams. Curtis wouldn’t be a bad place to start 😉.

DesertRam reacted to On the Ram Page in RAMS TV
While we are all in a good mood following the win at Exeter and over the next 2/3 weeks filling this website with our opinions of our next 3 performances, can I take this opportunity to have an early shout out for RAMS TV.
Over the last turbulent couple of years the one thing that has remained a quality constant has been Rams TV, providing us with a professional, objective assessment of our matches (take note Radio Derby). I remember Owen Bradley occasionally commentating on Radio Derby and thought how good and informative he was at the time. He has risen to new heights over the last couple of years and (despite a few dodgy suits) is perfect for Rams TV, keeping his commentary succinct and to the point. Shaun Barker is the perfect foil and his professional insight is well worth listening to - I can “see what he was trying to do there” being his catchphrase. Getting Owen to Rams TV a was probably the best decision Mel Morris made during his time in charge!
Obviously, they are the frontmen for a quality team in the background and well done to all the nameless helpers in producing a great service.
So personally, thank you Owen & Shaun for your fantastic work. Hopefully, every one else who appreciates your work will show that by “Loving” this post in a mark of respect, as I know you do read this website.

DesertRam reacted to Raich Carter in Embargo and Transfer restrictions lifted
Agreed. From a supporter perspective, at this moment I'd rather be fighting for promotion than battling relegation which is what would have been likely if we'd gone up. Of course we're going to miss out on a lot of players who want to play Championship but equally, because we're a decent sized club, that's off-set somewhat. As you say, we can afford to take younger players on and let them get the games in readiness for the step up.

the decision had definitely been made already,it normally takes the efl months/years for such decisions as we know, but i am convinced a different decision was waiting had we have got promoted, but as you say,we are where we are so will never know
