  1. If we lose Saturday

Agree, We could lose 10 games in a row and still manage to challenge a top six spot. Just look at last season!
  2. George Thorne

Agree. Sometimes, especially in the rain.
  3. George Thorne

Either he got sick in the span of 15 minutes, or the officials decided that he could play even though he's sick. This club is so mysterious. Rid of all midfielders except Huddlestone and Johnson, and then play the remaining one when he's still ill. And someone said it's raining?
  4. George Thorne

So is Thorne injured but also sick (coughing)? Someone asked SN if he's not injured and SN said "yes" (which in proper English means he is injured?).
  5. Is Rowett up to the job

Are you referring to Wassall? Don't forget that Gary Rowett, the current manager, uses Bradley Johnson on the left wing as well as the right, in this season not too long ago.
  6. Kieftenbeld..... has he really signed?

Obviously his head is already turned by his old club's vacancy
  7. Is Rowett up to the job

Like Shilton, you say? Wikipedia says he was the fifth oldest player ever to have played in the Football League or Premier League by the time of his retirement...
  8. Is Rowett up to the job

Four transfer windows sound about right -- the end of which Davies (34) and Huddlestone (32) hang up their boots and rebuild completed.
  9. Is Rowett up to the job

I wonder if Rowett, like McClaren, has unfinished business at his old club...
  10. Bristol City v Derby County

With Huddlestone and Johnson in a midfield two and Davies as one of the CB and he wants the team playing 15 yds further UP the pitch? Didn't watch the game but as I said before, with these players the team actually should play 15 yds further BACK on the pitch! Pressing is suicidal and you need to protect the slow players by surrounding them with other (also slow) players!
  11. Derby County v Hull City

Thank you! Not only does Baird deserve to keep his shirt, him (or Wisdom) playing in central defense also compensates, to a certain degree, the mobility issue of Huddlestone and Johnson.
  12. Derby County v Hull City

I would put Wisdom back in place of Davies, who again is unimpressive as some posters have pointed out. Baird, on the other hand, deserves to keep his shirt.
  13. Kieftenbeld..... has he really signed?

What qualify as "full facts"? Judges rarely have the kind of "full facts" you demand and they sentence people guilty, even in courts where presumed innocence is the rule. Proof beyond a reasonable doubt does not involve proof to an absolute certainty. Likewise, scientists never have the kind of 100% certainty you demand and they can still "reject the null hypothesis". Statistical proof of a certain effect is not proof to an absolute certainty. So what extent of facts do you need to see and how are you going to collect those "full facts"?
  14. Kieftenbeld..... has he really signed?

If I was Rednapp I would say "sorry, player is already yours and not our faults". That's basically Sporting's stance over Silva. Their president believes the actual transfer is complete and the missed deadline means Leicester will have to wait until January to register Silva. He is reported as saying: "I would like people to realise that FIFA has not ruled against the transfer, but against registration. The transfer is done, what is at stake is the registration and I hope you can enrol. Adrien was exemplary. Leicester needs the player a lot and I hope they find a solution."
  15. Kieftenbeld..... has he really signed?

Max Bird is like a weaker version of Tom Carroll when he's 16...
