Like you say, personal taste. I look at it more the opposite way. There are genres and artists that really grate on me, yet every now and then a song appears that I love and would even put in my top ten.
I used to hate Sting's voice (over time I've got to not mind it), yet Every Breath You Take I loved from the first time I heard it. Robbie Williams was the non singing fat dancer out of one of the most fabricated bands that ever existed, yet the same with Angels.
Then there are artists that you love and yet they release songs that make you think "what on Earth were they thinking when they recorded this, let alone release it". Shiny Happy People by REM, it never even appeared on their greatest hits album!
Music, eh! Everyone has their favourites, everyone has songs and artists they hate. A workmate once said "there is no such thing as bad music, only music that you like or don't like". Very profound and true, except for Tina Turner, she makes me want to rip out my eyes and stick skewers in my ears whenever I see or hear her. Oh, and Proud Mary by Ike and Tina Turner is probably in my top 10!

Great to see him up and moving about, although saying that I’m guessing sitting down wouldn’t be that comfortable at the minute!
Wouldn’t be surprised if Netflix approach us to follow us for a season, what Cocu has had to deal with in his first season is incredible really, some nights he must go home and question what he signed up to.
If we manage to make the top 6 he should be given the manager of the season award regardless of what happens after.

i think they will be charged using the joint enterprise doctrine as if they were all masked then obviously they all had the same intent ie robbery.

I was robbed at knifepoint once over thirty years ago on a pedestrian footbridge in a not so nice part of Manchester. He walked up right next to me and then spun suddenly on his heels so he was right in front of my face and pressed the knife against my stomach. There was no room for me to push him away or lash out, there was nowhere for me to run, and the feel of the knife against my skin was truly terrifying. He quickly found my wallet and then ran off. It was all over in an instant and I came away unscathed.
A knife is always more effective than a pair of fists, no matter how hard you are. That's why they use them. He was a professional who had obviously done it dozens of times and had had plenty of time to perfect his routine. I was young at the time and it certainly didn't stop me from going out at night afterwards, but now I'm over 60 I sometimes wonder what my chances would be against a young man with a blade, (i.e. zero).
I one took a wrong turn off the motorway in Amsterdam at night and ended up in Bijlmermeer, which is a notorious crime-riddled, drug-addicted high-rise ghetto, a real no-go area.  I was very relieved when I found the way out. They would have no qualms about putting a brick through your windscreen. I suppose driving around Toxteth in a Porsche, with or without satnav, would make Andre Wisdom a prime target. People do it for a living, and it will get even worse when unemployment rises in future.
I feel for you Wiz and hope you make a speedy recovery.

I'm not very good at speaking Dutch either but I can read it fairly well and can understand the message at the bottom. He's says "Hello everybody. I'm auctioning four tickets for Derby County's local Derby (he says duivelsstrijd = fight of the devils). Send in your bids everybody. "
They're up for auction on Onlineveilingmeester.nl (= online auction master).
Can't see how that'll work out as anybody coming over from the Netherlands will be sent into quarantine for 14 days and nobody will be allowed inside the ground. Perhaps he means RamsTV tickets?

So like others, they are breaking the law plain and simple.
Try not paying your credit card bill for 4 months and see if you can get away with it, (tip, you won't).
It'll not get any better with this crowd in government either.

One of the Ten Commandments is "Thou shalt honour thy father and mother", but nobody has a God-given right to push their families around and mess them about. There are limits. I went through that as a young man myself and I know it can be difficult. It's important to maintain your self-respect. Just stay true to yourself and the things you believe in. It can be very hard work,  but I wish you all the best.

I suppose Sibley is a worthy replacement for Lawrence, because he's only just started playing regularly just recently and its almost like having a new player in the squad. Let's see what Knight can do when he gets a start.

Agree Wisdom did well and had lots of possession, but he also spent an awful lot of time on the ball wondering who to pass to because Reading didn't allow the upfield players much space at all. Dare I say it, but we could have done with a few Keogh-style runs upfield with the ball today.

Lawrence was a total idiot, walked towards their guy after the whistle, chest bumped, got pushed away but he went back again, pushed off again, and then came the headbutt and a little slap from their guy. FFS Lawrence you had PLENTY of opportunity to walk away. Really, really annoyed with just how stupid he was. We'd got the points he scored the goal and then he gets sent off. SO stupid!

Not true, in fact nowhere near the truth.
Apparently only 24 people out of the 1700 or so who contracted it didn't actually work at the meat processing plant. It is a very localised event. All food shops are still open , provided you wear a mask, and there are no police guards to stop you going out. Of course, if you are infected you have to stay in.
Schools and non-essential shops have been closed, buses have stopped running, and no more than 2 people from different households are allowed to meet in public. All hospital and supermarket staff are being tested because they are the people most likely to have come into contact with the workers from the meat plant.
These measures only apply locally in the Gütersloh and Warendorf districts. They don't apply anywhere else. They are strict, but hardly draconian, and they have to be to stop the disease from spreading.

Work wise,we’ve got busier and although it’s been unpleasant at times we seem to have got some common sense with managing people most of the time.
I think applying the principal of being kind and trying to help everyone has largely won through and the vast majority of people have been great.
Unfortunately there has been some nasty and selfish behaviour by a minority.
I don’t ever see things returning to how they were pre March mostly in a positive way regarding hygiene and distancing/behaviour.
In terms of hospitals and healthcare we are trying to get things done before October as that is when we have been told to expect or prepare for another wave.
