Hey all, our new podcast is out now - a return of the 'Roundtable' format we did in pre-season. Something a bit different which hopefully gives you some perspective on Derby's promotion rivals:
 
With the League One season now past the half way point, Richard caught up with pod panelists from our promotion rivals, including two guests who'd also given us their predictions back in pre-season. We speak to Bolton fan James Jarvis, from the Lion of Vienna Suite podcast, Jake Smith, Pompey fan and radio presenter on Portsmouth's Express FM, and Dan Wheldon, from 'The Yellow Block' Peterborough United podcast.

Our League One top four panel reveal their team's weaknesses, where they're looking to strengthen in January... and who they all think will gain automatic promotion.

I do hope we’re in the market for a left back. Even if just a loan. Not seen anything from Elder to suggest he’s anywhere near up to scratch. As evidenced by this evening again. 

This is unbelievably sad 😢 His love for this club was absolutely infectious, Ill be raising a glass to him at the next match I attend. R.I.P 

I have some very sad news this evening.  Daniel (B4) died earlier this week. He was just 38.
As you know, he has been battling numerous health conditions for a long time, but always remained cheerful  and was the most loyal supporter of his beloved Rams, home and away.
He was at the match at Crewe and gave his full support as always. 
Daniel leaves behind a grieving dad, mum and sister. Our thoughts go out to them and we only hope they get a little comfort from knowing how well loved Daniel is by all who know him. 
Here are a couple of photos that his dad agreed could be shared. I'm sure many of you have others, as Daniel loved a selfie at the game.
David is hoping to arrange a more fitting tribute in time, but for now please raise a glass in his memory and a good Derby win today. I am sure that's what Daniel would have been doing tonight.

But arguably playing the worst standard of football of a Derby team ever…
I wouldn’t mind the league position if there was a positive direction that the team looked like it was going in, but it doesn’t look like there is a grand plan or philosophy under Warne? 

I understand that when the football isn’t pretty, and the league position is dire, football fans will inevitably lash out. However, I am amazed that there are a good number on here tonight slating our owner. This is a staggering state of affairs even for our club, only some 15 months since he saved us.  Cool it down lads. 

Eastgate is open inbound from Pentagon to Derby – the underpass remains closed.
Darwin Loop and St Alkmunds Way to Eastgate outbound is open.
A52 inbound now open, running one lane from Wyvern sliproad.
A52 outbound towards Nottingham, one lane open.
Pentagon Island is open.
Derwent Street underpass is now open.
Phoenix Street underpass is now open.
Meadow Road around Darwin car park remains closed due to flooding.
Chequers Road is closed past John Pye Auctions due to flooding.
Markeaton Lane is now open.
Sowter Road is open.
 

Well not had time to read the email, but this says there’s going to be players signing next Tuesday, so that’s all good.
