You write off performances and move on because it’s in the past and you can’t change or rewrite the past?
This idea that you feel and see things more keenly if you are a regular is silly. If you are a fan, you are a fan. It doesn’t matter if you watch on TV or from the stands, go to 5 games or 500 games, travel 5 miles or 50, spend £5 or £5000, you only want the best for your club and it hurts or lifts you up all the same. If you want to dwell on every poor result and every poor performance, of course you are never going to be happy.
We are a club that has been in the second tier (and now third tier) almost exclusively for 25 years. Naturally the bad outweighs the good. I started going to games regularly in 2001 and the years of good football are massively outnumbered by the years where we played poorly. We are surely used to ‘putting up with it’.
If you are a fan of this club, circumstances tend to stop you from going, not entertainment value. I suspect unless you grew up on the Clough, Mackay, Cox and Smith teams, being entertained wasn’t what drew you to supporting the club in the first place and standing by the club through good and bad.
You make it sound like this is the first time in a long time we have played poor football and like this is some oddity. Warne isn’t the first Derby manager to produce a questionable and divisive brand of football, but he might be one of the few to achieve relative success if he is allowed to see the job through.

Honestly, there is so much tripe posted in here after a defeat it is laughable!
We've lost back to back league games for the 1st time.
We are 2nd in the table despite having to deal with a lack of attacking options.
Yes, we would all like to see more flair, more attacking football, but we just don't have the personnel for it atm, our financial restrictions have limited who we have been able to recruit and more importantly, IMO, who we were able to keep hold of.
I really wish we had played a 5 at the back last night with the lack of a left back being available, Sibley at LWB and Wilson at RWB would have given us more attacking options IMO, but he chose to play a 4 with Cashin at LB, a 4 that the vast majority are screaming for despite the personnel not being available.
No matter how poor the football is perceived to be by some, we ONLY lost to stupid, amateurish individual errors again, just like at the beginning of the season.
Is it Warnes fault that Wildsmith had another brainfart? We could see from the South stand that when the ball went forward he would never get there in time as he wasn't on his toes in anticipation, so he should have got close and stood his grd to make the player have to beat him.
Was it Warnes fault that the numerous mistakes from individuals cost us the 2nd goal, fgs, I came from us trying to pass it around at the back instead of launching it forwards (what most people complain about as Warne ball.... so it feels like all those moaners got what they deserved by trying to pass it around with league 1 players!).
I for 1 will be there on Saturday and give him my full support, despite not agreeing with some of his decisions,  after all, what do I know compared to the man that has us 2nd in the table?
And for all those that say any other manager would have us 1st, prove it, Where's the evidence? Who's to say we wouldn't have lost more games? Or is it just your opinion, a bit like mine, so worthless other than being an opinion of a fan that has watched thousands of games but never had access to the inner workings of a club out of administration and the coaching badges to allow me to be on the training ground.

Sorry, I know I’ve brought this up before but I have a real issue here. Half way through this season they moved them onto the inside of the advertising boards - great - a sensible move employed by a number of clubs in the country.
Today all of a sudden they’re back on the wrong side. Most of them are scared petrified just to climb over to get a ball. How many times today was Wildsmith wasting time fetching a ball or a ball just gets knocked out of play and just keeps trundling down the side of the pitch.
Sorry but we, like any football club should be employment every tactic to get a 1% improvement. We want to win our home games - get the ball back into play as soon as possible, so get the ball to our players when it’s a Derby ball immediately!

Every now and then I am bewildered by decisions made by the club.

So what? It seems some fans are reluctant to accept, primarily after going into administration and attempting to deal with the aftermath of that, WE ARE a League one club like it or not. We have to earn promotion with the resources available and within the restrictions we have to work under and do what we can to succeed.
In our current position, I'm not in the least concerned about how we would fare in the Championshop should we get there next season - let's worry about that when the time comes.

Agree second half Max Bird was much better, and what a goal, lets get behind the team, and support them, all this negative is no good for players , managers and fans, we all want the same thing promotion, so lets drive the team on to the championship. Once A Ram Always A Ram.

That's the issue though isn't it.
I genuinely believe there would be fans whom would find something to moan at this scenario.
Which is the current problem in a nutshell.
    Not Warne.

At halftime he went to a 3/5 at the back v Bristol and we were far better second half. First half with 4 we were poor.
The likes of Wilson and Ward are tailor made for the wing back role where nyambe is more suited to a 4 (rb)
Basically there are situations where having the 3/5 is beneficial (as there is for 4 sometimes) so asking to drop it completely i can't get on board with.

Our style of football has not changed. Warne goofball is a figment of the imagination of those who want him out and others have just jumped on the bandwagon. It’s just the players are passing the ball better, moving into spaces to receive passes and are playing with more confidence. Of course injuries have also had a dramatic affect, anyone who doesn’t believe so, in my opinion is deluded.

I can say now it was never a tactical battle Crewe you say had looked to have won that battle, I disagree as we should've been out of sight by the 88th min as we were that dominant.
If we had been lucky to get a draw I'd admit to that but we wasn't lucky, If you'd watched that match not knowing either side or what level they were playing at I'd say nearly everyone would say we were by far the better side but...as i mentioned our finishing was poor and sometimes our decision making was not great but I'd rather have those problems than being dominated and playing on the backfoot, we didn't and on another day we would've been 2-3 up before they scored.
Also credit to Crewe who defended resolutely and should be proud of there performance but there only tactic was to try and get out of there own half in the first 45
I've been critical of Warne but not in this game, as fans we can all have an opinion and choose to dislike the manager or certain players maybe but also its important to get behind the team and management if they're seen to be trying to improve some of the dross from this season that we've seen so all the time we are trying to dominate games and try to actually play football I'm fully behind us win lose or draw because its better than Some recent away performances and some home ones too

Disappointing yes but hardly shocking. If our result was shocking I don’t know what that makes Charlton’s, Barnsley’s and Portsmouth’s.

But arguably playing the worst standard of football of a Derby team ever…
I wouldn’t mind the league position if there was a positive direction that the team looked like it was going in, but it doesn’t look like there is a grand plan or philosophy under Warne?

Haven’t read through the thread so probably an unpopular opinion, but I thought in the main we played well. Certainly better, even at 2-0 down, than in some recent league games.
The game showed up very well where we are strong and where we need to strengthen. Our approach play was excellent. Warne cannot legislate for Foz falling asleep or Bradley being unable to hold off his man. Or some of the poor quality pull backs from promising attacks. We all know we need a decent striker in the window. If cashin goes we will need a first choice centre half as well. We should have had the game with by half time but we didn’t, and as soon as we gifted them the second they just parked the bus.
To be able to play through 11 human beings camped in their area it requires the technical skill of a good Premiership team - as I type this watch how Liverpool are struggling to get through Luton - as we are a reasonable to good league one team.
Rather than just moan and think we should be smashing a team who are good as at least a quarter of league one teams, I’d praise the fact that they stuck at it and managed to get a result which looked highly unlikely at 88 mins.

Was at the game, think, the telly put on a different game to the one I was watching judging by the hysteria again on here , a good cup tie , defensive errors , lower league club on verge of upset, fight back at the end, dominant display from the Rams , Crewe defended like lions and made it difficult for us but the lads stuck at it and deserved a replay

I find all this abuse of Warne at the match heard on the TV coverage and on social media really embarrassing and detrimental to us as a club. I've never know so much ire directed at a Derby manager before in my life. Can we all stop moaning and just support our team? We've been through the mill as a club and some fans need to realise we aren't just going to 'piss the league'. This constant tirade against our manager is really tiring.

We need support not the type of toxic atmosphere we saw from “some” fans on Saturday. Although I’m pleased to say there were more fans applauding at the end than the other so called fans. We are there because we support the team. We have no Devine  right to beat “smaller teams” just because we are a bigger club. How long ago we nearly didn’t have A club to support. I realise the disappointment but what good comes of slagging the players. If they ain’t good enough that’s life…..but they do not go out to lose and they certainly don’t want to be in this league next season either. Let’s not forget we still have our hands tied on transfers, players do not have to come to DCFC, and if they think the place is toxic why would you sign if other teams make a similar offer with fans who support their teams in adversity, like we did in our 21 point season.
