If it's Mel Morris then I'm sorry but that is the absolute final straw for me.
That man took over a club in the play off final on the brink of the premier League and had left us with no assets, no young players and on the brink of league one with a very probable 15 point deduction as well as currently having 5 players contracted to us next season.
This is a man that wouldn't answer the phone to Rooney to such an extent that Rooney had to call from the club doctor's phone and then Mel answered straight away.
This club has been rotten to the core since this man took over and the only good thing to come out of this absolute horror show is that he will no longer be anywhere near this football club.
Rooney doesn't like him and clearly has no time for him. The amount of effort, heart, passion, desire that these players, Rooney and the coaching staff have put in this season despite all the circumstances, all the issues. These have all been caused by one man.
If he was to takeover or be part of any consortium taking over that would be a smack in the face to all that these players have done. When he's put us in this position solely to reduce the debt he's caused.
The man is a spineless, gutless piece of work and I want him nowhere near this football club ever again.

It would be frightening, Even tho Holding and Croft are in their 60s and Roberts is in his 70s.

I'll try him but not sure about Neptune trip working for my nearly 16 years old boy.
One of the responses I got on the phone last night was 'we're not here to babysit your  son" I found that a pathetic response.
To be absolutely clear, I'm not looking for a babysitter. He's nearly 16. He's a trustworthy boy. I just want him to have a ride to Luton.
I was going to Derby matches on my own at 11.
I believe they're safer now than ever before. I didn't have a phone in 1979.

I want to see that printed somewhere on next seasons shirts and beyond. Back of the collar, inside the shirt under the neckline, on the sleeve.
Yes I said next season, fully aware of the current situation.
It's not club generated marketing to sell tickets, it's not a club generated ethos that's drawn criticism.
It's words the fans have used in response to performances on the pitch.
It's words the fans have used as they are proud of this team, proud of the team that plays in Pride Park.
Let's not just have it printed on the shirt, but plastered around Moor Farm, the changing rooms at Pride Park.
Make it visible and not forget why it's on the shirt.
All we can ever ask for is to give 100%, let's not allow the players to forget that either, it's not just a 21/22 situational inspiring song that's quickly forgotten.
    We'll fight 'til the end.

@BoroWill- the reason your owner is seen as the villain of the piece is because he is.  Not because of his views of Mel Morris and not because of his previous views and comments of our club's profligate spending - you will find many/most Rams fans (no doubt some late to the party) who agree with him on both counts - but because he is and has been for many months deliberately making it impossible for us to move to new ownership without us slugging him a considerable amount of money (anything between £7m and £45m) for a perceived competitive gain, when even your own fans believe that your failure to gain a play off place that season was largely down to Pulis and a sporting/player/results failure on your part.
We have been roundly punished by the EFL's processes for our financial splurge; we have spent the vast majority of the last 3/4 seasons under a transfer embargo; we've had 9 players leave this transfer window alone, most against their will; we're down to the bare bones from a squad perspective; we're likely to get relegated despite the fantastic effort that the players are putting in to avoid that happening.  Is not all that and more, punishment enough?
Yet, for your owner, this is personal.  He doesn't care that the club, our club, is suffering, that good people are out of work, that a fan base is suffering. The proof of that is that he is continuing with a claim that is at its very, very best, purely speculative.  If he relaxed his claim we could, probably, get new owners in place, sort out creditors, be relegated and under EFL control for two more years but at least move on.  He won't let us because he doesn't like Mel Morris and wants to see Mel Morris suffer. And that is it pure and simple, and that is why he is, whatever your protestations to the contrary, the villain of this piece.  It's time for him to show some leadership, move on and concentrate on his own club.

So you were another one that didn't get it then. How do you work on a style of play when you have another game in 3 days time?
Some of us understood, but got fed up of saying it.
Some of us didn't understand, but didn't get fed up of saying it.
I suppose we should be grateful for small mercies. At least you've finally realised.

I was born whilst Roy McFarland was manager, and in my conscious time supporting this Club, I think I can now say that Wayne Rooney is my favourite manager we've ever had.
I was too young to fully appreciate Jim Smith. I started going to watch Derby regularly when he was manager, and some his squads will be players I always remember (Mart Poom was my first football idol), but I was still too young to think deep enough in to football to see the influence of managers and the impact they have on squads.
Wayne Rooney isn't a manager who has produced the best results I've seen like Davies or McClaren, or produced the most eye-catching football (McClaren), but doesn't stop him coming out on top for me.
I think when all of this is done and we emerge on the other side, those who stood by us and supported us will never be forgotten, likewise with those who did the opposite. No matter what happens, I won't forget the loyalty that Rooney has shown us, when it would be so easy for him to do walk. I don't have enough fingers to count the number of times where he could've turned his back on us and you'd only be able to say, "yeah, fair enough."
But here he is inspiring younger players, breathing new life in to veterans and getting this Club pulling together as one to get results and performances we really have no right to get in our situation. Then when the opportunity comes to possibly manage his boyhood side, he doesn't think twice because he's fully invested in the project and the battle we have here.
How inspiring must that be for those at the Club? I couldn't think of much worse than having someone preach to you week in, week out, only for the same person to just jump ship at the first opportunity. The fact he hasn't done that makes me confident that this squad and the supporters will be invigorated even more. If we do manage to retain our Championship status, he'll become a legend. But if not, I don't think I'll ever underappreciate what he's done, and what he's doing for us. I wanted him gone towards the end of last season, even after we scraped survival. Thank god I'm not in charge hey? And mostly, thanks Wayne.
