Wilson isn't perfect, but I think we lose so much when he doesn't play. His ability to drive at players makes a huge difference. I'd always play him if available.

Watching the Full 90, there was a wonderful tribute in the commentary to B4. Instead of seeing the football from the 38th minute the focus was on the fans showing their appreciation. A great send-off!!

Last year there was a top 3 already out of sight. This year there is still a clear top 3, averaging over 2pts a game or more, but they are much closer to the chasing pack of 4. Effectively we are 2nd in that chasing pack, as both us and Peterboro have better records than Stevenage.
I agree with those who say the division is much weaker this year than last. Happily we're in a much better position than last year, but I think we've demonstrated in the past we have a weak mentality once we've got into a position to challenge. It's very important to overcome that and not fall back.
It's not enough to be "in the playoffs". This is *the* season to win promotion from this division. Good to see there's a chance. I want us to prove ourselves and not drop out of the playoff places from now on, while inexorably closing in on the top 2. Looking forward to another comparison, maybe at the halfway point?

I don't think he's right for us at all but accept that sacking him right now makes no sense. Results are improving though performances are not. Tonight will be very interesting.  We have to give him the January window to make further changes to the squad and then the rest of the season. However if he fails to deliver promotion then he should be sacked

You make its sound so easy, was the defender for first left or right footed? There were two Derby players waiting for the ball if he missed it. As Shaun Barker described it, there was not much the defender could do but swing a leg at it.
Your comment on the second suggests woeful defending it was not!!!

The first one the defender was not under extreme pressure, if he swings his left foot at the ball it's cleared towards the halfway. He inexplicably turned it directly in with his right. No attacker breathing down his neck, he was stood alone.
Second one I couldn't tell why the keeper seemed to stick a leg out to stop it and failed. Defenders couldn't do much tbf.
I did say that our goals were "aided by" as opposed to "solely caused by" the defending. Mendez had a decent run for the first but he was put through by a big hoof that the defender jumped underneath and missed.

I love it when we win. It's always fun to read all of the reasons why we shouldn't simply enjoy a narrow win against an in-form team on a day of respect for one of our most dedicated fans. 
In a nutshell: the first half was even; our build-up was much too slow; when we created promising situations, players fluffed their lines. Second half we generally dominated the opposition, looked far more dangerous going forward, showed great character to create the winning goal and were good value for the win in the end.
