This is a great interview with Jake. He appears to be making good progress with his injury, as well as becoming a guitar virtuoso!

Yes. Too many people wanting to watch Derby and Blackburn U21s instead of Everton and Palace.

Not quite sure where to post this but seeing as it was supposedly part of RamsTV pre-Shrewsbury….
Great (but short) interview with Cash… the bit when he said his relationship with the fans was a big part in him signing a new deal almost brought a tear to my eye…
Man, when one talks of ‘We are Derby’…. With regard to Cash HE IS DERBY . The new Jake Buxton. 👍👍👏👏
Top-top guy. Our best signing in the window by far…🐏🐏🐏

She was also credited with opening the 1st ale house in Derby, It turned out to be a right high spirited place on a Saturday night, The site was around the top end of St Peters street/Osmaston road...just where the Neptune is now 😁

A good and fair blog, mate.
Derby is steeped in history, from the small Roman settlement of Derventio at what is now Chester Green, through the little known 10th century Battle of Derby, when Queen Æthelflæd of Mercia defeated the Vikings and captured Derby, to the Enlightenment and birth of the industrial revolution, development of the railways and being a centre of engineering excellence.
A brief tour of the Museum of Making at the Old Silk Mill followed by a walk round the Cathedral Quarter to Derby Museum to see the paintings of Joseph Wright will give you a good background picture. Just try to ignore the many planning and development disasters facilitated by generations of abysmal local town planners and City councils which have destroyed what was once a gem of a Georgian market town.
As a sensible solo visiting supporter, no pub should be out of bounds, but if you're into Real Ale in particular, the Flower Pot, Silk Mill, Exeter and Dolphin have both the history and the beer. Nearer the stadium and station are the Brunswick, Alexandra Hotel and Smithfield which are among the best ale pubs in the country.

Seen a few state that it was 3 points but a hard watch , not really how I saw it , I enjoyed it , hard fought win away against an out of form team who actually have some decent players who can hurt you ,it swung about with both teams having periods of looking on top and a piece of quality won it , the fans sounded fantastic on rtv ,
rinse and repeat , simple fact is we just need to go out and get as many wins as we can , that’s warnes job and he is doing pretty decent at it ,
max bird was beating his hand on the badge and was as good as I’ve seen him ( wasn’t sure how loan back would pan out ) , perhaps though knowing/feeling it was time for a new challenge he did it in a way that helped the club also ,,, as people have stated ,why not wait till season end and maximise his choices and money scenario, he has signed with a new club but brought in much needed money to derby and stayed on loan to obviously ( clear from yesterday) give his all to leave this club promoted and in a better place , perhaps the club wanted/ needed him to move now if not signing on for another contract , he has my support for the rest of the season for which he is very much one of us and my best wishes for the rest of his career

Indyram reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Max Bird - flew the coop to Bristol City, loaned to us to end of season
Those making observations about Warne’s style of football and Bird could well be right, maybe he’ll tell us all in a book one day.
A thought that’s occurred to me is maybe he’s just decided it’s time to move on in the summer. He’s been at the club for years, and a lot of those years have been turbulent times, he stood by the club when others walked away or forced their way out, maybe he’s just ready for something else but wants to help towards promotion before he goes.

Honestly cannot be arsed to get into this debate with anyone today but if that’s what you think the Derby Way was or that what Max Bird’s game is then you probably watch a different version of football to me

Walk along Tissington trail near Parsley Hay. Completely litter free apart from every few yards little black or green bags of Doggy poo. On return walk of about a mile and half I counted 18. Who do they think is going to collect it all. Getting dog owners a bad name.

Congratulations to Paul and his team and very well-deserved.
I always think a Management team's job is a frustrating one, because if you win it's in spite of you, when you lose it's all your fault.
Enjoy the moment, get your heads down and carry on the good work.

So I’ve not been on the forum for ages. I didn’t know B4 other than on here. I’m an ex season ticket holder and have moved away from Derby although I pay my subs and listen online.
However B4 was a legend on here, a great positive influence and in his own unique and wonderful way represented us as Derby fans so well. I am sad to read of his passing but heartened to read the outpouring of love for this legend.
RIP B4 thanks for being you.

Indyram reacted to ram59 in Post office scandal
It's disgraceful that these problems were evident over 20 years ago and nobody at the PO or government at the time either noticed and/or was prepared to act upon it.
What can't be defended is the lack of action since the problems have come to light in the appeal courts. The people responsible for this have put  these sub postmasters through hell and will end up costing us taxpayers hundreds of millions of pounds, custodial sentences and loss of pensions should be the least of their punishments.
Whilst, I applaud the ITV for bringing this injustice to the fore, I feel that questions must be asked of them, regarding the exclusion of the head of the post office, prior to Paula Fennells. He was Adam Crozier and when he left his post at the post office, he went to become the head of ......................................................ITV.
