  1. I would add that if Wilson plays instead of Ward, that makes Hourihane's inclusion more likely.
  2. Said it before on here, you'll struggle to beat Bilbao and San Sebastian. Beaches, history, heritage, arts and the best food on the planet. Not the cheapest accommodation in San Seb but worth every penny.
  3. I'd play him in a 3 but not in a 2 and maybe not at all at Pompey. I know if it's 1-1 with 10 to go v Carlisle and the ball is dropping to the edge of the area, I know who I want from midfield on the end of it.
  4. In an ideal world we'd win at Cambridge to clinch promotion and beat Carlisle for the title. I think the biggest difference this year to last is we've had our fair dues from the officials over the season. Some bad luck, some good. The costs of last season's decisions ran into double figures.
  5. Yes I'm aware of the Teeside controversy.
  6. This is why this is such a key game. After this our squad will get stronger as players return from injury. We just need to manage what we have to engineer 3 points. Win this and I'll be very confident of automatic promotion.
  7. As in, who controls Tufton Street?
  8. Have you read How they Broke Britain?
  9. Just the tweet in your post. You need to treat the cause not the symptoms
  10. An independent regulator may mean a fairer distribution of TV money, which may mean less risk taking from Championship clubs.
  11. Oooh sounds good. He is very good but also slightly irritating. His books is very good. I may go.
  12. Read 2 books on holiday. How they Broke Britain by James O'Brien, with chapters on various politicians and advisors who he sees as getting us to where we are now. Thought and anger provoking. If you interested in politics and centre or leftist especially. The Satsuma Complex, Bob Mortimer's debut novel. Very Bob, very funny with a quirky cast of characters and a tense-ish plot.
  13. Maybe look at places north of Leamington like Balsall Common or Dorridge that also have train stations on lines into Brum.
  14. I would agree about the Northampton game. It will probably, and hopefully, be the game when we have the fewest players available. Win this and I'd say we are odds on for top 2
  15. Warne implied Ward would be ok but Barkhuizen wouldn't, so I went with that. Therefore with only 2 forwards ready to start and 2 on the bench, we need attacking wing backs.
  16. I left Barkhuizen out because he's injured.
  17. In my late 20s my wife thought I looked like Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice. I would point out that A) this was 25 years ago and B) she had bad eyesight

  19. He looks better as a sub for me. Coming on against tired legs with a stretched game.
  20. 352 for the next game by necessity. Waggy and NML up front with Adams, Smith and Hourihane in the middle.
  21. Smallest man on the pitch? Taller than Sibley, Smith, Tommo and maybe Waghorn as well 4 or 5 of their team. The toddler returns
  22. I think he will play v Northampton in a 3. With Gayle and Barks out, we will start with Waggy and NML up front and Wash and CBT on the bench. This will mean the wing backs playing further forward to provide more of the attacking threat.
