ramboy63 got a reaction from Dordogne-Ram in Is there trouble at mill
Yes quite worrying from his last few interviews one remarking heads have been turned and the other night saying things he cant talk about thats going on and needs to keep them under his hat
I do think he as tried to get more players in but maybe he is being blocked from doing so,ie the money for Knight as not been spent on players and perhaps he as been told the same if Bird gets sold, who know just guessing but clearly something is not right
i was very optimistic for this season now after only three games we are in a real mess, not even that confident we will beat Fleetwood this weekend which tells you everything

Sad thing is even though if we do beat Fleetwood I doubt the pressure will relax that much. The mood just feels wrong at the moment.

A lot of posts now saying ‘Thompson needs to start’ after a competent run off the bench last night.
Well you guys must see something that I don’t.
Yeah, he runs about a bit and is ‘one of our own’, but I’ve seen nothing to suggest he’s anything above a competent player and honestly feel that he’ll find his level in League 2 - Hopefully not with us 😞
Happy to be proven wrong, but just can’t see it 🤷♂️

All i can say about last night is Wow,how bad are we
If you take your centre half (Bradley) off three games in a row what does that tell you
If we are now saying Thompson is a must starter on Saturday, what does that tell you, he was lucky to get a place on the bench last season
Not sure if we have ever lost all three home games at the start of any season before but if this turns out to be 4 on the spin come Saturday then i think Warne has to go,this weekends game is followed by trips to Bolton and Peterborough that could realistically see us in the relegation places.

ramboy63 reacted to valakari in Michael Smith
Think this is nothing to do with is Smith better than Waggy...as Smith is a no 9 and Warne says Waggy is a no 10.
The more important question is Smith better than Collins..which i think is probably a yes..just, but a yes none the less...
I would sign them both..then we would have 2 no 9's and 2 no 10's....(as well as Sibley, Barkhuizen and Mendez Laing...none of whom seem to fit our formation???)

ramboy63 got a reaction from jono in Martyn Waghorn - signed a 1-year deal
Hopefully we get this over the line in the next 48 hours which would allow him to be part of the squad come Saturday
We could do a lot worse so its a yes for me

ramboy63 got a reaction from David Graham Brown in Paul Warne on Sportscene for full hour 1st August
Looked our best player so far in Pre season for sure ,the problem we have he as 1 year left on his contract and if the reports on his wage are true at present he is on around 7K a week, Hull will look to at least treble that circa 20-25K a week so if the transfer does not happen we will end up with a unhappy bunny in our team and then able to go on a freebie next summer
These are the problems we find ourselves in

Can we let Chris Martin retire in peace ffs. He's about 43, probably is as many stone now too, and definitely doesn't fit the Paul Warne high pressing style. Martin was an absolute legend, could probably still do a job, but not in this team.

I’m available on a free as long as I’m paid CM’s wage to warm a subs bench or physio’s couch.
