GB SPORTS reacted to Kernow in Supporter of the season
He’s a fan from South Korea, did a UK trip earlier this season, I saw him at Burton away and he was getting a lot of attention. He gets up at ungodly hours to watch games and often posts the goals/key highlights live on Twitter.
But for this season of all seasons, it has to be B4. I downloaded the FanHub app purely to nominate him.

GB SPORTS reacted to Crewton in Serial Whingers Notts Forest playtime, which we simply cannot accept.
I've just seen the three incidents on motd2. My take would be:
- first one, tap on the heel, ridiculous dive, no penalty.
- second one, ball strikes defenders arm from a yard away, arm in a natural position, seen em given, but not a penalty IMO.
- third one, yep, didn't get the ball, 100% penalty 😂

Isn't it great that it doesn't really matter though. In recent years, we've had to cling onto the hope of Forest failing because there's been so little to celebrate. I obviously want Forest to go down, but them staying up won't even register compared to the jubilation we should feel on Saturday.

They haven't exactly rolled out a welcome mat have they 😄. That's the lesson that we learned quite quickly - the idea of the 'Football Family' is a load of horse****. A call for solidarity for the sake of the fans? Good luck with that. It happens very rarely and Blackpool/Derby was one of very few examples that I can think of. Not even 100% sure that would be repeated if it was all going off now.
Seems that even threats to the very existence of a club barely causes a ripple these days, so don't expect much sympathy from fans of other teams if you overspent and might go down a division, particularly if your fans were being arses last time the teams met.

GB SPORTS reacted to Cisse in Where do you think we'll finish this season?
I haven't had the time to concentrate on this season as much as I would have liked but what I have gathered from this forum is that we have played the sh%te football all season with a clueless manager. One game left and now we find ourselves second on the league with fewest goals allowed and most wins (tied) in the league. I can only guess how well we would have finished if we had played better football with a proper manager.

GB SPORTS reacted to Steve Buckley’s Dog in End of season celebrations.
Nothing would be more derbyesque than a 40 page argument about how we should be allowed to celebrate before promptly losing to Cambridge and Carlisle. Why don’t we simply not worry about it and act accordingly when/if the time happens. And by accordingly I mean alcohol.

GB SPORTS reacted to jcidaho in Paul Warne
I don't think the fanbase is that divided - at the match there's plenty of pro-warne chants for example. A few posters on here give the impression of a split fanbase, but the reality is different. It's like reading twitter and thinking the world is mental, whereas in reality you've just stumbled across some nutters in the village square.

GB SPORTS reacted to MaltRam in Paul Warne
The job Warne has done, since Stevenage away, has been exemplary.
You cannot play one touch 50 pass moves with league 1 players. Not feasible. If we blow it, and have to face up to another season down here, Warne is definitely the man to rebuild us and go again.
If we go up, he will have earnt the right to build a Championship squad and have a go at keeping us up, as per his original brief.
I know he's marmite, with his off-beat personality profile, but he's clearly an honest and genuine man and it's hard to see a nice guy cop for abuse.

But surely you need to meet the short term goals to be able to meet the longer term ones? 🤔

GB SPORTS reacted to G STAR RAM in Paul Warne
I'm assuming that you are expecting Clowes to fund this pay off of his employee that will have just met his goal?
Hopefully, Clowes will realise the money will be better spent on funding the squad for next season.

GB SPORTS reacted to bucktwo in Paul Warne
When we go up in two games time , we will suprise many including most of the fanbase next season by flirting with the top six , eventually finishing a credible 9th , ready for a prem promotion push in 2025/2026 ..

GB SPORTS reacted to McArthur Park in Paul Warne
But may I ask why? Various so called "big " clubs have taken more than one season to escape from League One. Why should we be any different, especially after just coming out of administration?

GB SPORTS reacted to Caerphilly Ram in League Table since October defeat at Stevenage
What’s the qualifier for the phrase “blind-faithers”? What is served by making generalised comments about other members of the fan base?
Some people are able to take this season as it is, see we’ve won more than we’ve lost, scored lots of goals, conceded the equal lowest number of goals in the league and put ourselves within touching distance of automatic promotion, is their “blind faith” being repaid? People called for patience citing things like the need for the team to gel, Warne and his staff’s previous experience of promotion at this level being an advantage, the quality available in our squad telling in time…is that “blind faith”?
Some people have concerns about what will happen next season, should they be labelled “wrist slashers” for thinking only the worst will happen? Or should it be acknowledged that there could be grounds for those concerns based on our inconsistency at times this season, the need for further recruitment, the manager’s previous record at the level above etc?
It’s all opinions, some of which have been proven correct some of which have been disproved so far this season. Generalising labels at any section of the fan base just seems unnecessary to me.

GB SPORTS reacted to uttoxram75 in Where do you think we'll finish this season?
If we get promoted on the last day v Carlisle we wont need an open top bus. The celebration will be all afternoon and evening in the pubs and streets of Derby.
We're going to do it and its going to be a massive party.
The Rams are going up.
I'm looking forward to the hangover!

GB SPORTS reacted to Carl Sagan in Sibley too good!
I find posts like this just weird. One of Sibley's many strengths is his ability to run with the ball at his feet, at speed, leaving midfielders of defenders in his wake. He's absolutely no slouch. We are a team whose instructions are to bypass central midfield and play the ball wide at the earliest possible opportunity. If we were prepared to vary our approach and played Sibbo in midfield, then we'd have the threat from the wings and also the threat from the centre.

GB SPORTS reacted to jono in Match Thread: Leyton Orient (h)
Thing is, I didn’t. We play mixed football most of the time. Sometimes physical, sometimes technical. We play in a way promotion teams play in League one. Are you suggesting that only technical teams win in the championship or indeed in football in general ?
The irony is that it is a player like Adams who is both physical and technical has made a huge difference to our performance as a team when for example Bird and Hourihan for all their technical abilities have struggled in physical games. You play in a way to beat the opposition. To suggest Warne is fixated on a style as Macarthy often was is as inaccurate as it is unjust.
