DenbyRam got a reaction from cstand in Possible lift from Derby to Bolton
It looks like there's now a limited service, one train an hour at 10.06, 11.06, 12.06 , between Manchester Oxford Road and Horwich Parkway. After the match it's a 5.46pm departure.
Honestly, you need to keep checking all weekend though as it changes regularly.

You can do Derby to Crewe, then Crewe to Wigan. 6 miles to the ground so local bus or taxi.

All those people moaning about not being able to get tickets for away games, and yet only 600 of us could be arsed to go yesterday.
Really poor.

DenbyRam reacted to Sean in Away Tickets - 2022/23
I got a ticket for Shrewsbury so don't think that was me, unless I was checking how many were left.
I have a membership but I was planning to go with my brother who doesn't hence why I didn't get chance to sort it in time!

Yup, Thameslink trains from the lower concourse directly underneath where the trains from Derby arrive.

Go to Boro, support the team.
Just do not buy any programmes, beers, coffee, burgers. Nothing.

Don't get the train to Parson Street, it's a long trek to and from the ground with no pubs or anything of interest on the way. You may as well walk from Bristol Temple Meads and take advantage of some of the good pubs on the way. Or get a taxi to the harbourside if you're in a hurry.

DenbyRam got a reaction from Steve Buckley’s Dog in Boro and F*rest tickets.
I emailed the club on 19 July about making a change to my season ticket for 2021-22 but haven't had a reply. I sent a reminder a couple of weeks ago and have also tried the SLO email address but heard nothing.
It's really disgraceful customer service whichever way you look at.

DenbyRam got a reaction from HuddersRam in Pride: The Inside Story of Derby County
Started this today. First chapter about the end of the BBG and that "five miles" away Pride Park was ready to welcome its "tenants".
Its not five miles between the stadiums, a mile in a straight line, no more than a couple of miles by car surely.
Were we tenants? We owned/own it, even if we've never paid the bleeding mortgage off...
Other than that, a good read so far.
