Just watching the Luton team milling around a hotel in Clayton le Moors. Look strong and positive but alas no George in today’s squad. Being led around the grounds by none other than Inigo himself..looking remarkably cool of course.

Sometimes it’s not what they say but how they say it.
You’re not allowed to the bottle in,which is a rule and that is fine, however someone should take the time to deal with you properly and not leave you feeling so aggrieved.
I think the standard of stewarding and security at grounds is a very mixed bag.
Don’t let it put you off mate,we can have a rules section in a match day thread(that’s supposed to be mildly amusing by the way).

My view on today, definitely a good point against a good team with all the attributes we have struggled against all season. Today, we stood up and coped with the physical battle but annoyingly were undone by two individual defensive errors. Without them, we would have won the game. Two weeks ago against Blackburn we didn’t lay a glove on them and we were played off the park. Today was a decent result make no mistake and with the other results, we are definitely still in there with more than a fighting chance. Forest are capable of beating boro, Sheff Weds performance against Norwich shows they will be a tough ask for Bristol. Bristol and Swansea are both very winnable away matches as both sides suit our style of play. We’re knocking on the door of an away win, it could have happened against Brentford and today.
Its in our hands, we smash QPR to get the goal difference advantage, beat Bristol, get a point v Swansea and beat WBA who will be resting everyone for the playoffs then I think that will be enough. That set of results is feasible.
Thought today, Mount tried to force things too often, needed to calm it down at times but still a solid 7 out of 10, Waggy played well, Cole was excellent, Lawrence played with aggression and was a big threat first half, faded in the second, and Bryson had a decent game scrapping and breaking things up. Can’t see how anyone can really criticise Bryson or Lawrence today!
Wilson was worst player on the pitch by a mile.

In pretty much all other walks of life, employees are paid as low as the bosses can get away with paying them or based on how much profit they help generate. Football appears to be the complete opposite.
There's very few measures that can be used to assess how much a player is worth, the general rule appears to be as much as the agent can squeeze out of the club.
I'd be much more in favour of low basic wages with heavy incentives. This way you're only going to be splashing out the cash if your team is doing well and hopefully your players would always be motivated to put the effort in. Would hopefully make it easier to shift players that weren't performing or were no longer part of the plans.

Good shift so far by Waggers. There is more joy to be had there if we continue utilising him right. Come on Derby, we can do this if we tighten things up at the back. Yes they are effective at what they do but they're definitely beatable.

Got to be able to beat these if we want to be taken seriously in the race for the play-offs.

Nice article in today's Daily Mail about the emotional support MW has given to Nino Severino, husband of the late tennis player Elena Baltacha. Severino became Waghorn's sports science coach, after a chance meeting when Waghorn was looking for somewhere his young son could play tennis and says of him "I've never met any athlete like Martyn with such an awareness about the technicalities of sport and how to improve."

It’s the parachute payments that should be looked at, never mind FFP. They ought to be reduced in order to permit a more level playing field. These payments are to help relegated clubs transition into the Championship. Instead they are being used recklessly to try and buy their way back up. Stoke City is a prime example. It’s nobody’s fault but their own if this strategy fails.

Steve How Hard? reacted to David in Lampard wants to keep Mount, Wilson & Tomori next season
"It is a question for the summer. On a selfish note, I want them with me," Lampard said when asked for his thoughts on where the trio will be playing next season.
"I have loved working with them all, so if I could have my own way, I'd keep them," Lampard said.
"It's something that they will want to sit down with their families, their agents, etc, and think what is best for them.
"They've got different options. The last thing any of them will want to do now is go and not play football, so I think that will be the main thing in their mind.
"I think they have to do that - they have to keep playing football regularly and improving themselves, which they have managed to do this season."

Boro should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute for the quality of football they play.
