I don’t think we should try to read anything into the tweet in isolation. As others have said, there is probably a lot more context to add. Since when have we known PW to give such a short answer?

Yeah the context comment is a fair point and PW does tend to speak more honestly than he should in certain situations. That's not a dig at him btw.

Not sure how to take that remark. Surely if you're in the current squad it would leave you feeling, that if we go up, am I going to be retained or disposed of. Hope that doesn't have a detrimental effect on team morale or am I over thinking it?

Edit: Apologies @Topram. Looks like you've already made the same point.

Definitely 5 Kath ~(Unlike us ex Henry Cav to have problems with maths 🤣 Pritchards fault !!)

Also in the Ossie End for that one. Second tier just above the clock. Had to get there at 1 o/c to get front row with my old friend Robin Morris - where are you now Robin ??

He put us in administration and scarpered never to be seen again.

Ps- it's usually spelt robbin but I'll not make an issue of it. 😉

I've honestly lost track of who's a Derby fan and who's a Bolton fan in this thread.

Only one way to explain a team's performances over a season to someone who's not been to games. It's not Xg, or any of those stats. It's the league table.

Came home from the pub last night absolutely steaming. Mrs was well up for a bit of romance. Couldn't get little Oodle up. Absolutely limp.

I assume that still counts as getting my end away though. Ended my night on +1 expected shag, so that pretty much shows everyone how good I am in bed.

That's how stupid it Xg is.

    Poor old frustrated Oodledoodle

    Couldn't satisfy Mrs Oodles poodle

Even though he gave it a rub

He'd spent too long in the pub

So instead he just gave her a coodle

I used to sell steel tubes that ended up in the offshore oil industry and heard a tale that some Oil Company paid for Bucks Fizz to do a gig on a rig. They got stuck in a storm and had to stay on the rig. After they left some enterprising lad auction the sheets that the girls had slept in 🤣

Is that really true or are you in the land of make believe again @jono? 😉

Losing Dwight Gayle is a bit crap. He’s been brill , hopefully waggy can get us over the line

I was gutted for us and him when I saw him moving gingerly and frustratingly pulling his shirt over his head. I knew then and there his race was run.

Typical of our luck I thought. However kudos to Warne and his staff. They turned this massive negative into a positive.

It allowed us to get an extra man into midfield as we were getting a bit over-run in there. However we have to hope and pray that it's not as bad as it looked. We need a fit Dwight Gayle if we are to capitalise on the position we find ourselves in. 🤞

Their skipper, Santos, who their fans rave about - did anyone else think he looked absolutely dreadful? Clearly not good on the ball, got caught under 4/5 long balls and offered no threat from set pieces. Might be an off day but wasn’t impressed after reading so much about him.

We gave him far too much time and respect when he was in possession as they built from the back. We did exactly the same in the reverse fixture.

Every time he got the ball he was allowed to stride out unchallenged and gain 10/15 yards of ground.

It happened so often I could only conclude that it was a deliberate tactic by us to drag him out of position and then press him.

It didn't really work to our advantage and I would have liked to see us press him sooner and put him under some pressure. I think we would have gotten more change out of him that way.  He had a relatively easy afternoon in that respect.

  8. Apologies if any of this is a repeat of what's already been said but haven't had time to catch up with the thread yet.

Firstly hats off to Bolton, thought they came and had a decent go. They are probably licking their wounds wondering how they didn't go home with something from that game. I won't begrudge them that as they were much improved from the reverse fixture. Wasn't that impressed with them that day.

Having said all that I don't want to take away from the shift all of the boys put in. Cashin, Fozzy and Nelson in particular were immense. Fozzy quite rightly the MoM. To put in that level of performance after being out so long was beyond impressive.

Big shout out to Wildsmith too. Two world class saves gave us a platform on which that victory was built.

Absolutely buzzing with that result. Won't be getting much sleep tonight as my adrenaline levels are off the scale.. Trying my best not to get carried away as there will be more twists and turns yet but we are firmly in the driving seat. Every club in that division barring Pompey would love to be in our position right now.

You beautiful bloody Rams. You've caused us all so much heartache  over the years but it just makes moments like this all the sweeter.
