I used to like Talksport, but it's no more than click-bait nowadays - presenter says/tweets something stupid purely in order to generate responses. There are hardly any reasoned discussions as they just want people to rant.....

Would the club reconsider their approach to away fans at the end of games? Currently they are allowed to leave the stadium at the final whistle and home fans from the East stand are re-routed/delayed to allow the away fans to get back to their coaches or to walk along the path in the car park behind the South Stand.
Apart from inconveniencing the home fans (including quite a number of elderly) and preventing them from getting to the car parks (thereby encouraging people to leave before the final whistle), it also has the effect of bringing large numbers of home and away fans into direct contact at the end of the path near the entrance to the arena car park - in the case of (for example) the Leeds game last season, this approach led directly to the fans kicking off -  trouble which continued along the road towards (and beyond) the roundabout outside the Audi dealershjhip.
Other clubs keep away fans in the stadium for 10 minutes at the end of the match - this would greatly reduce the likelihood of trouble outside the ground and also remove the need for so many fans to leave games early.....

On similar lines, would the club change how they deal with away coaches after the games? Currently, anyone in Car Park A (behind the South Stand) is held back an age until all the away coaches have departed. With the best will in the world this takes time. My question is, why can't they allow cars to leave the car park until the coaches are ready to depart and then suspend the cars for a while. This would get cars moving away from the ground quicker.
Another transport issue (which the club will say is not their responsibility) is some active traffic management to improve the flow away. The roundabout at the junction of the A6 and London Road has cars blocking exits thereby stopping vehicles crossing it to go round the ring road or turning right onto London Road. A small amount of human traffic control here would make such a difference. That could be replicated at other pressure points around Pride Park and its exits.

Well thanks for your well thought out and carefully worded advice - it's always great to be lectured by the morally bankrupt children of this parish.
To be honest, the more I see of posts telling people they are overreacting or need to get a grip, the less I feel part of the club anymore - some of you folk need to grow up a bit and realise this fiasco has really upset a huge number of people asscoiated with the club. Add in the number of complete **** **** we now seem to have following the club (the Frank effect?) and I'm beginning to think it's time to call it a day......

Just throwing this out there, but is it possible that Cocu is misjudging the situation because he's Dutch? - having worked with a few Dutch folk, they have a different outlook on life - far more laidback and relaxed about things in general. It may be that Cocu (as he showed with the Forest team selection) just doesn't yet 'get' the strength of feeling for the the club from the fans and doesn't therefore give sufficient consideration to them when making decisions.
My opinion is that the two morons shouldn't be anywhere near the team until they've had their day in court and I'm really not sure what Saturday will be like when/if they run out of the tunnel - I'll still turn up as always, but as things stand, I'm not sure I'll care whether we win if the idiots are involved - as things stand, the club feels like it's drifting away in a direction I don't like - big decisions to make when it gets to renewal time if I can't get the connection back - perhaps I need a test to see whether the club really is 'in my DNA' anymore.....

Agreed - was looking forward to it, but neither team showed anything - United seem to just hope that Dan James can create something out of nothing and Arsenal rely on Aubameyang - but neither side have anyone else that seems able to impose themselves and both have comedy defences....the only passion the two sides showed was when the players were surrounding the referee and demanding cards were given to the opposition (a behaviour I thought had been outlawed - though as it's Man U & Arsenal I expect they've been given an exception....)

Mate, how about you stop talking ballcocks and stop acusing people of being plastics? - I've had a season ticket for over 35  years  and I've never found myself feeling so embarassed about following my club (not even after the infamous PL season). People are feeling genuinely hurt by the actions of these morons and we're angry that the club has been dragged through the mud again. The vast majority will still turn up tomorrow and get behind the team (as will I), but acusing anyone who struggles to get their head round this and questions whather they want to be associated with the latest embarassment doesn't make them plastics - if anything, it shows how much the club means to them....
