That interview with his agent on Talksport showed how far out of touch with reality his agent is/was. Mix this in with a bit of arrogance/ignorance to accept the reality of the situation and maybe even a sense of entitlement and you have the current situation. 

Just get rid of him, what use is he going to be in 14 months time without having played for such a long period and coming back from such a huge injury.... Hes done. Move on

I’m purely speculating 
am I right that clubs have insurance on players, ie they get injured then the players wages or a portion of them are covered by the insurance pay out 
can’t help think that this has come about as I can’t imagine for one second an insurance company of a footballing nature will be paying out when a player becomes injured in the manor that this occurred 
hence the club have to pass that responsibility back to keogh 
just speculating 

My own take on this is that Derby need to find out who’s leaking stuff to John Percy and the press and get them out of the club. Its not helpful to anyone in this situation and all this off the field stuff has only had a negative impact on the club as a whole.

This is the trouble with some fans! We belong where we are and at present that's in the Championship. You can't say Bournemouth,  Watford, Swansea etc don't 'belong' in the Premier League - they're there on merit.

The reality is that although we are trying to gain promotion, we are nowhere near being a side that could compete at that level. We have players like Butterfield that is very poor in his passing ability. Johnson showed against Norwich that he is in the same category. We should NEVER have paid what we did for the likes of Butterfield, Johnson, Vydra, etc. we need MAJOR injection of quality even if it's in the form of five loan players of Premiership quality. 
I can only think of TWO or THREE players that could survive in the Premiership, and that would be Hughes, Carson, and possibly Ince. The rear guard are good, but aging, and wouldn't survive in the Premiership, evidenced against Norwich. Am I wrong?

In all fairness to Polter he's playing in a poor team at the moment. And if you look at his record his goal to games ratio is not too bad and I think in the right team under the right coaching he could be a real asset.

Scot Hogan for me best finisher in the Championship would cost £5million but he's good Were still not scoring enough to kept winning matches
