  1. I’m with you mate. I’ll be wearing my poppy badge today, tomorrow I’ll be at the Utch war memorial to pay respects to family members whose names are on there. I know local folk who sell poppies, my mum in law used to go door to door round our estate for years with them so I have nothing but respect for all who do their bit for armistice day and Remembrance Sunday.
  2. Brilliant point. I'm guilty of moaning about referees, i played football for 25 years in local leagues and you get to know a good ref who may make the odd poor decision from the weak ref who is scared of making a decision but at the end of the day, they see it in real time not slow motion so VAR should judge it in real time. Use tech to decide if a ball has crossed the line and offsides maybe but otherwise bin it. Its not improved the standard of refereeing one iota.
  3. Haaland esque hat trick right foot volley bullet header lwdt foot curler into the corner 🐐
  4. Once again, everyone is divided by the people who rule the world. The middle east is and always has been, contested for its oil, gas and latterly, minerals for phones etc. The USA and the western powers want control of the area, there's huge untapped reserves of natural gas that they want to take without sharing it with the palestinians. Its nowt to do with religion, anti-semitism, islamaphobia or anything other than pure greed and profit. Google "Ben Gurion canal", and "Levantine gas basin". The world is well and truly fecked, run by the immoral controllers of the banking system. Google "Genie" energy, see who owns it and why they want control of the Golan heights and Syria. Its all about money, always is and always will be.
  5. Watched a bit of the Newcastle - Arsenal match, Pished mesen laughing when i heard that Bobby Madley was on VAR while Atwell was performing on the pitch. What a pair of complete and utter merchant bankers. Both should have been relegated to the Uttoxeter and District League years ago. Even then they'd be useless.
  6. I hope to see a Derby captain lifting the Bristols aloft one day.
  7. The 11 point season was worth it just for the street party around Euston station and the late train journey back to Derby after the play off final win......we emptied all the local off licencies for a half a mile radius and danced and sang along Euston road for hours. Bottles of champagne (well, mostly cheap fizz tbh) popping everywhere, we even got the old bill joining in the songs at one point.
  8. I agree. I don't dislike him but i think we need a Seth lad type in the midfield, especially away from home. A Mickey Lewis or Geraint Williams would do.
  9. Its just industrial slaughter now. Still, it should be good for shareholder value in BP.
  10. So no improvement apart from scoring 25% more goals. Also, your post contains no videos of 1980's bands that no one has heard of and not a flag in sight! Poor effort Inverurie..... 😁🍻🐏
  11. They have strange shaped balaclavas in Grimsby?
  12. Unfortunately, until more of us realise what the root causes of war are they will keep getting away with it.
  13. War and Natural Gas: The Israeli Invasion and Gaza’s Offshore Gas Fields by Michel Chossudovsky January 8, 2009 The December 2008 military invasion of the Gaza Strip by Israeli Forces bears a direct relation to the control and ownership of strategic offshore gas reserves. This is a war of conquest. Discovered in 2000, there are extensive gas reserves off the Gaza coastline. British Gas (BG Group) and its partner, the Athens based Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCC) owned by Lebanon’s Sabbagh and Koury families, were granted oil and gas exploration rights in awith the 25 year agreement signed in November 1999 Palestinian Authority. The rights to the offshore gas field are respectively British Gas (60 percent); Consolidated Contractors (CCC) (30 percent); and the Investment Fund of the Palestinian Authority (10 percent). (Haaretz, October 21, 2007). The PA-BG-CCC agreement includes field development and the construction of a gas pipeline.(Middle East Economic Digest, Jan 5, 2001). The BG licence covers the entire Gazan offshore marine area, which is contiguous to several Israeli offshore gas facilities. (See Map below). It should be noted that 60 percent of the gas reserves along the Gaza-Israel coastline belong to Palestine. Probably just coincidence that the 25 year old agreement is nearly up.
  14. Just starting to go through the grandkids as teenagers phase..........
  15. Manufacturers of weapons of mass destruction shares shot up on October 7th. The mass slaughter of civilians is win-win for the billionaires.
  16. Brilliant pics fella. The C stand in all its glory! He's fat. he's round. He's never at the ground......
  17. Bloody hell mate, what a life changing situation for you both. Its a huge commitment but absolute respect to you for taking it on. Good luck and hope it all works out for everyone.
  18. Oil and gas Alpha, you forgot oil and gas. That's the only thing driving this slaughter now. That's what the Empire was all about, natural resources, robbing and pillaging other countries, we're still doing it but try and pretend its for other reasons.
  19. I'm sure that an Insta footy account is full of level headed sensible fans who would never dream of criticising 30,000 Derby fans because two of them shouted at a player. Then again, maybe i'm wrong and some of them are really stupid 15 year olds.
  20. This thread sort of fell apart with the dirties league position. They lost tonight though to a late own goal after Bamford missed a penalty. OK, it was at Stoke, but that apart, i look forward to seeing the resident Leeds gobshite at work in the morning.
  21. oops, i thought i'd embedded a clip of the goal there but must have broken some law or summatt. I'm sure Boycie will bail me out....... Anyroad, watch Mbappe's goal and tell me it wasn't a carbon copy of Connor Washington's against Exeter!
