Team of world class players rocked up like a league 2 team playing away at Anfield in the cup. Far too much respect and far too negative. Forced into changing it, it worked, then immediately wanted penalties again. Ridiculous. 

God knows, but it’s time for someone else. I’m confident that with a more attacking manager, this team wins at least one of the last 3 trophies. Still our second greatest ever manager I’ll give him that… but he was too safe to become our greatest.

£1m is a huge fee for Adams all things considered, and I’m not sure I’d have paid that if I was in charge of recruitment. There are probably other options out there who are better for that money. That said, he was exceptional for us last season, and we absolutely would not have got promoted without him - so I’m still delighted that he’s making his move permanent.
FWIW, I wouldn’t be too worried about the absolutely value of the fee. I’m confident we can afford fees like that, especially with the extra money coming in from Kellyman. It’s just that it feels like an overpayment based on Adams experience and contract situation - but I’m sure we should still have plenty of budget left for further signings. And we’re going to need them.

Cardiff City midfielder Ebou Adams has been the subject of an offer from Championship rivals Derby County, says Bluebirds boss Erol Bulut.
Adams, 28, did not feature in the Bluebirds' 1-0 friendly defeat against Kidderminster Harriers on Wednesday and Bulut admitted his omission was related to the potential transfer.
The Gambia international made 17 loan appearances at Derby last season, helping the club achieve automatic promotion to the Championship from League One.
"As far as I know we got an offer from Derby County but nothing is finalised, so until that moment, Ebou Adams is still a Cardiff City player," said Bulut.
"We didn't want to risk him [against Kidderminster] because we are close [to a deal] but in football you never know. Things may not get done and today we didn't use him but tomorrow is another day, we never know".
