Will the Ram

Although i  have lived in Derbyshire for all of my adult life and I am a rams supporter I was born and brought up in Burton and I have a huge fondest for the place, I was born in a nursing home between the breweries and the marmite factory and I have always associated the 'smell' with home. My family still live nearby and though my first team is Derby I maintain an interest and a pride in the brewers. I look after my mum and I travel through Burton 4 days a week. It may well be looking run down at present, but show me a town centre which isn't. It's my home town and seeing it sneered at on this thread makes me sad. It isn't a joke at all and this negativity is nasty.
 

I have no animosity at all towards Burton Albion, in fact when they’re not playing us I like to see them doing well. The difference between how I feel about Burton Albion and how I feel about the gumps is enormous. I don’t know any Rams fans who’s feelings aren’t similar.
Surely people can see that most of the negativity in this thread is joking?

You obviously don’t believe in karma. First  ‘why don’t the efl just promote us now ?’  (look what that did for our winning streak) and now this. Please drink at least one pedigree today and tomorrow to restore the cosmic balance 

We beat Burton 1-0 at PP in 2017/18 but yes they are definitely a bogey team. It won’t be easy on Saturday.

Was reassuring to have Fozzie and Curtis at the back. Overall I think we benefit having their experience on the pitch. Hope Curtis has an ice bath before getting on the coach
 
Also hope PW continues with Sibley playing high. He didn’t have a great game but he needs a proper chance and I think he could score some vital goals in the next 3 games 

Thats all good but it shows we are better when we have to attack in the games we go 1-0 in under 5 mins in a game and instead of keep pushing for more we sit back for 85 mins 

And the funny thing is, whenever we actually attacked we tore them apart pretty easily. It didn't even take 5 minutes to open them up and score, yet we never did it again. The reason? Because from 5 minutes onwards we sat back and defended. Embarrassing tactics. Rovers more than tripled the amount of passes we completed.

The wheelchair area wasn’t great either Angie. 2 wooden frames (again with poles obstructing the view) with with a piece of clear corrugated plastic over the top. I don’t think it would provide much (if any) protection against rain etc.
The disabled toilets were also outside the stadium. I don’t think I’ve ever had that before at a stadium. Just bizarre.

I agree but I would be more optimistic if we had been the team creating all the chances today rather than trying to cling onto a flimsy 1-0. The performance tells a story and we’ve had too many off days to say we’re on the up.

Do you just have no expectations at all?
Happy with anything? I don’t get how can be where we were in late jan and be happy with where we are now. Team changes every game, formation doesn’t suit us at all, defensive football but letting in more goals whilst playing it.
Is going so far backwards. Are you genuinely happy with the last 12 games?

It is really disappointing IMO, no matter who the manager is, when you just try to hold on to a lead and offer nothing/little going forward.

Three games tonight with plenty to play for at the bottom of the table and Sky show a meaningless mid table draw.

Only 2 have gone over the top from what I've seen. The rest has been constructive.
We'd have took this at the start of the season, but pre Wycombe away we had a decent chance of top 2 and now we are hanging on to top 6 by our fingernails.
It's not the overall picture, it's the recent decline 

I have nothing positive to say about it as it was really disappointing and especially after the promising first half.

The last day of the Premier League is the Sunday afternoon. Perhaps Sky chose the League Two Final for that day so there would be less of a time/viewing figures clash compared to the League One Final.

It definitely did. His ticket wasn’t bought elsewhere. They did sell out pretty quickly on the day they went to general sale. Another of my friends missed out.

Liverpool did make general sale. My friend got tickets and he doesn’t have a membership.
