Let’s not poo our pants just yet.
We still have a club. Change was inevitable.
We might be a bog standard Div One team with a less glamorous manager but we’ll still be Derby County.
We couldn’t afford Rooney’s wages really.

People falling over themselves to find something wrong or hidden messages in a bloke trying to enjoy a game of golf is very embarrassing

Thing is if the funds have cleared and it's done then it wasn't really a Rollercoaster day..it was just a day where there were certain reporters pushing for a sensational story that was never there.
This fast food media can be a total nightmare at times and has whipped elements of the fan base into a feeding frenzy..
Hopefully we will know soon enough.

A player can still have the 'potential' to be a success here regardless of how young or old

Lots of appearances in a good Swansea side, plus QPR have been decent recently....and he's under 30.
Not the biggest priority position, but a more encouraging standard of player.

Baldock would be worth a go. A hard working irritant of a forward in a similar vein to Gregory, Weimann etc. His career numbers aren't too bad by any stretch and he's played for some decent sides at this level.
Folks love a good whinge for whinging sake. It's pretty clear that the type of player we are looking at now is 100 % relative to the situation we currently find ourselves in.
The only immediate priority is to simply form a squad capable of competing in the Championship next season.
With all of the overriding factors and restrictions impeding our potential transfer movement (self inflicted or otherwise), what else is realistically expected?

Also the guy who convinced the Abu Dhabi group to buy Man City.
Works both ways.

He is not a buyer but an advisor with great success at Man City not at Wigan. Don’t know which other take overs he has advised on

No conspiracy. They just all figured out that a headline containing the words "Wayne Rooney", "Derby County" and "Relegation" will probably get loads of clicks. That is why all of these headlines look and sound the same.
