If you have secretly invented a replacement for crude oil please let someone know.
You could buy the club - you could buy all the clubs - with the advance on profits.

I agree. We will rise.
Bizarrely, whilst I am one of the biggest Derby fans you could ever wish to meet I am becoming indifferent now to the saga and have stopped reading any reports. I think this is a natural reaction and a realisation that most of what you read is pure hogwash.
surely, with the fixtures out soon, the next week should see progress.

PP being pulled down would be quite a thing - for this to happen we would have to have been liquidated I think.
I think the symbolism of that happening to one of the founding clubs with massive support would make it a top story in the media.
It would be a big reputational hit for anyone who had been involved in such an appalling outcome business wise, or even been on the Council and let it happen.

Firstly, what makes you think that the City Council would easily wave through the redevelopment of PP, even for residential development (which is questionable anyway, given what it's built on)? They've always said they wouldn't, and what seasoned developer is going to take a punt on that changing? The land alone isn't worth £21m without planning consent.
Secondly, fans were willing to pay £400 for seats from Upton Park because it was WHam's traditional home. I doubt you'd find many that would pay a tenner for a seat from the London Stadium.
Thirdly, only the East and West stands at Highbury were retained, and the redevelopment costs were substantial, but it was financially worthwhile because it was inner-city London right next to a tube station, not remediated industrial land at Wilmorton.
Without a tenant able to pay a rent, Pride Park makes no sense as a purchase - and what Derby fan (as David Clowes is reputed to be) would buy it in the knowledge that he might have to knock it down to get his money back?

Try Morrisons. Fish is better. Don’t know about big dinners. Little and often might be better
Not got much leave left. Don’t mind where. Like swimming against the tide. Mars would be warmer this time of the season.
Prefer a matt finish meself so flock off.

You might be right.
You might be wrong.
I have had enough of being depressed.
What will be will be.
Whatever state we are in, whoever owns us, and whatever league we are in, we will exist.
I for one will not stop supporting DCFC. We could be liquidated but we will reform and start moving up one way or another, there are too many fans in Derby - which is a one club town - which is important.
Chin up. Think about when we get sorted and when we are on the the way back up ...
"Ball number 99 - Derby County (*Dorito Durex League North*), will play .... ball number 45 ... Wycombe Wanderers (League 1) ......"

I think that the EFL are twitchy about a large ancient club going down the pan - as that would leave them open to some serious Govt scrutiny by Nadine Dorries - EFL bashing would be popular and a big vote winner for Boris right now.
Anyway - stop worrying, its going to be all okay.
I am planning on winning the Euro Millions this Friday and Mrs WHR says I can have half to save the club.
I plan to be Owner - Manager - Player. I shall pick myself every week, and play a different position to show the rest of the team how easy it is.

IF MA does buy the club, I hope he gets it lock stock and barrel for a start off. There is a big mess to clean up.
He will try and buy it for the lowest price he can - who wouldn't?
I am prepared to give him a chance.
It could be kind of cosy - no one likes us - we don't care.
It makes me feel all sort of Christmasy, imaging a pouring Wednesday night in November and we are all singing that to him while the Opposition's No. 11 goes off on a stretcher after our new 6' 9" Scottish signing ploughed him into a hoarding.

It's a strange threat from the EFL, because there's an implication that they could choose to sell the golden share to someone (Ashley for example) separately from the remainder of the in-debt DCFC - and that would leave Q withan almost worthless club to dispose of (which they'd have to liquidate)....and a lot of annoyed creditors...
The owner of the golden share could then buy the ground separately and a new club (AFC Derby for example) is born with the right to pick up in Leagie One.....
