Drivers trying to get out of car parks at the end of matches. But not any driver, those in particular who feel the need to edge and edge and edge their way as close to my car as is possible. If you wait patiently for me to let you out then i'll let you out no problems. If you think you are intimidating me and encouraging me to let you out by bullying your way in front of me then i'll happily drive past, even causing some superficial damage to my vehicle if you are too close, and i'll make you wait for the next available opportunity. We're all in a rush, we're all attempting to make our way home so what makes your circumstances any more special?

Why do teeth have to have nerves? Why can't they just be stuck in like lego bricks and when they crack it won't  friggin' hurt like hell!!

I quit teacher training for the same reasons. Took on things with less responsibility and things that have allowed me to have a social life and regain that confidence and belief in myself. Tomorrow I hope is the start of getting to do what I really want to do without spending every night thinking I haven't done something.

This was waiting for me on the mat when I got back off holiday. Very long album - so much so I still haven't listened to it all yet. And what's with starting an album with 4 instrumentals?! Haha. That David Gedge is an obstinate bugger. Probably why he's still doing it

Already got my tickets for December at the Venue.

Yep TLM I've seen all of these and have vinyl by them all except for Moose, which I think feature on various compilations I own. Always loved MBV and enjoyed dancing to Glider (AW mix) at The Mudd Club an indie disco I attended in my teens and early 20's. Here we go.......

Great band. Dare is a favourite of mine. A bloke I know says My Favourite Dress was about his ex. 

Not heard much by them if i'm honest IR. New Fast Automatic Daffodils, Moose, Slowdive, Chapterhouse were faves as was probably the best album I've ever owned which to this day I cannot find a band of similar ilk that distorts guitars in the same fashion - Loveless by My Bloody Valentine. Absolute genius album that one.
Loved the Charlatans. You heard of Flowered Up? They did a couple of corkers including weekender.

Yep got Northside stuff on vinyl and saw them back in the day, when chasing around Britain to see the likes of The Stone Roses, The Happy Monday's, The Inspiral Carpets loads of times etc. Also seen The Charlatans loads of times including going to Paris to see them, and the gig was featured on Rapido, a few folk from Aberdeen met up with a load of Manx and went on the coach and ferry across etc.
 

I take it you enjoyed Paris Angels also TLM.
 

Chicken Rhythms. What a great name for an album! I thought i'd change my avatar every couple of days with bands that I've loved over the last 25 years. Northside were one of the lesser known of the 'madchester' bands.

I saw them live in Nottingham in 1991 (I think).

I was going to 'like' that post WHR but that might have looked like I was taking the p*ss so I've left it.
If it's any consolation, i'm approaching oldness I think and rapidly.
