I will join you in spirit only. I wanted to give him a chance and could not understand the negativity towards him before he even pulled on a shirt. So pleased for him.
Well done with your bravery and confession 🤣🤣

Yeah you might have a point there. I remember Lampard always used to tell them to shoot when you get the chance, you never know what can happen, if its deflected in or rebounds to our player etc. You make your own luck i recall him saying many times.

We don't seem to have enough players willing to hit the ball when in striking range. Which surprises me considering our manager used to score for fun from range

I've got no issue with passing between the CBs to find an opening but you can't do it for minutes at a time and then pick a sloppy pass and turn over possession.

Got to concentrate here. Forest will sit deep and wait for a mistake. First goal could be crucial.

BathRam72 got a reaction from SKRam in Rooney For How Long.
Personally I think Wayne is quite astute and he will have seen what happened to Lampard and realise he is only in his infancy.
I would like to think that he will realise he has/is done/doing a good job with a poor situation and look towards what he could possibly achieve once all the stuff in the background gets sorted and money become available again.
He would not only gain more experience over a few seasons, he could really improve his CV and thus his expectations when it comes to the big clubs calling.

Also surprised at how well he’s done. A falling out over investment seems the most likely reason he’d leave mid-contract. Quite possible Lampard’s chastening experience at Chelsea would give him pause for thought before moving though (I think he’d only leave for the PL). As @BathRam72has said
Here’s hoping MM will now feel his health is stable and that he will have one final push next season with Rooney. Then he can sell the club post covid. If MM does stay and back Rooney and if (if) that works, Rooney could be with us for a long time. We can only dream
I’d welcome a tweet from Colleen that they’ve moved to Belper haha
