If only we had a local journalist to look at it rationally and investigate what is actually happening. Maybe just maybe the situation we are in may gather some reputable momentum. The problem is the all just want to tow the line.

I much prefer us without him in the club.

Investigate ? Call in favours ? Use contacts ? Not simply ring the press office at Derby County and say 'any news' , Perhaps I have watched too much Lou Grant or Press gang

JG400 got a reaction from Steve Buckley’s Dog in Local Journalism
Really frustrated with the lack of any comms from Club or EFL along with everyone on here , but I am pretty disappointed with the output from the local journals , be it paper or Radio, I am sure that they will say that there hands are tied and that they ask DCFC for a response everyday but get no comment, further more let me state that I have a lot of time and respect for the guys at Radio Derby (plus also zero time or anything else for the click bait that calls itself the Derby Evening telegraph) , however is Investigative Journalism dead ? or is it smothered by a don't ask questions that will get us banned ?
National Papers will only give so much space/time to DCFC and then only the more sensational news bites , a local journalist has a audience who are invested in there local club and therefore digging for detail must be worth while

If they did get any comment from the club then the article would only be made totally inaccessible with a number of pages of impenetrable clickbait anyway

why do we need local journalists when the club opened a direct communication channel to the fans and their representatives, by way of a fan forum. All that needs to happen is for the chosen ones to report back to the fans...oh

JG400 reacted to David in South Stand: Respect
Come on, that's the West Stand, just how it is over there, if you would prefer to stand and bounce, you would buy a ticket in the South stand, simples (That words for you @ThePrisoner)
I remember getting a ST in the North Stand the season Pride Park opened, we would get shouted at by 2 old guys behind us with kids if we stood up for a penalty.
We were all like 6ft tall 16/17 year olds blocking their view, wasn't the stand for us but that's where our parents had brought us tickets to be "safe".
That was the only season I spent in the North stand, we didn't kick up a fuss or anything, was frustrating but it was what it was.
Now days, just does't seem to the respect anymore, they don't care if they are blocking the view of people that are unable to stand, our older fans have to sit there and take the abuse if they dare to mention they cannot see the game.
Surely football is for everyone, young, old, disabled. Having different sections of the ground to cater for all is great, not snobbery.
