Dunblane was the worst for me. I was an infant teacher of 5 - 7 years olds and when I turned on my class TV at about 3,30 and saw the news I felt so sick. There but for the grace of God went any of us teachers who love and protect our pupils and would willingly put our life on the line if necessary for those who have been entrusted into our care.

On the subject of offal , my dad used to love tripe , in all it's disgusting forms . He'd have it cold with vinegar and a  tomato , or cooked in milk and onions , this would stink the house out , and make me feel queasy . Don't even ask what chitterlings were !

The Walls man came round our estate , trouble was he was a distinctly unsavoury character . His hands were permanently black , as if he had to keep replacing his bike chain . His teeth were an amazing mixture of colours , my dad always said that if he had a white one , he'd have a snooker set .  Chellaston in the 50s , anyone remember "Georgie " ?

I don’t like to get carried away, but a good few of our players are clearly a level above League One level.
If we start the season with midfield options of Bird, Knight, Hourihane and Bielik then that’ll be the strongest set in the league and better than a good few Championship sides too.
The wide players could be among the best too. Much may depend on whether we can get a tune from them.
    We have solid centre-backs.
I’d still like us to bolster our attacking options and fullbacks.

I was in the same space.
Happy to pay monthly, was not too fussed when they upped the costs by 50% a year or so ago, but this one feels a little sneaky.
I paid on May 10th for a monthly pass (no matches), I paid on June 12th for a monthly pass (no matches)

Now if they're not taking payment in July, and the payment in Aug covers from the 30th July onwards, then fine.
But if I'm going to get charged next week a monthly fee for 10th July - 10th Aug, it feels a little off to put the pre-season fixtures on top.

Basically I'll have paid ~£50 quid for no benefits at all
And i know I can cancel over the summer, but we all know the financial shape the club is in so I was happy to continue paying - equally though like previous years I assumed pre-season fixtures would get included

The better side won and it should have been a cruise after their red. Lawrence has had a shocker but as Sibley stepped up to the plate he’s somewhat saved his captains blushes. Shame he’s missing for 3 winnable fixtures though.

I imagine Milwall let us have possession and try to hit us on the break. Gonna be tough but I’m backing us for another win. Time for the celebratory merlot.

From a personal point of view, if it's something I can't control or I cannot affect the outcome, it gets filed mentally under "It is what it is" and I don't worry about it. It means that I can sleep at night.
