I totally agree with all you have stated, he was not perfect but who is, he made school boy errors but who hasn’t. At the end of the day he helped to keep hope alive and galvanised fans and players in away that frightened the EFL to a point where they didn’t know whether to have a s—t or hair cut. For that I will always give him respect.

The EFL are are a governing body!

I wouldn’t trust them to take my dog a walk, I honestly think if they did they would bring me back a different one.

Let’s start being honest with ourselves, Derby County FC is fake believe it’s not really existed for the last 9 months.
Unfortunately for us the money people have treated us like a rich man’s toy and will probably continue to do so.
In my humble opinion they have no redeeming features, but I’m not from the same side of the street as them.
Very sad but the so called game of football is in my very humble opinion absolutely screwed and unrecognisable from what I recollect, it’s so sad that the youngsters will never experience the joys we had following DCFC.
I suppose fans in all clubs will have the same rose tinted spectacles.
Sorry but I’m on a downer and I can’t see a lot of light at this extremely dark tunnel.

The height of in competence being setting your own criteria and targets then failing to meet them!

Chelski may be the catalyst, ok for a different reason but it could show football and all it’s administrative faults for what they are.

Yes it’s not the best just lately but Derby County FC has always had a tendency to be the ultimate in roller coasters, I for one hold no malice.
At most things in life you serve an apprenticeship possibly two that you don’t, one being a parent and the other a football chairman both of which can on occasions be an absolute nightmare.
I really do believe we will be ok it might not all happen in the majority of supporters acceptable time frame but I’m sure it will happen and to the club’s benefit and satisfaction.

Maybe that depends on the which side of the fence he’s propagating at the time, one thing is certain he’s not capable of making his own mind up!

I suppose you can look at it two ways:-
one:- Show to the footballing world how unfit for purpose the EFL are and try to protect clubs that find them subjected to the bizarre tactics of distorting the facts to their own agendas.
two:- Comply and come back via league one and laugh at them.
To be honest I can see it from both points
My preferred option however would be to beat the drop and then call them out!
Wishful thinking on my part.
