Finch reacted to Gringo in Rooney leaves
If WR had his sights set on managing in the Premier league, then appraising the next "few" seasons at DCFC he would have determined that, given no players can be signed and having to operate under a draconian EFL imposed business plan, then his career prospects would not have been enhanced. He has left as a saleable commodity with his reputation intact, staying on would have been a one way ticket to destroying that reputation.
I doubt NC would come back given the very underserved vitriol from a section of the fan base but for me he is the only logical choice in this division.

Weird just weird something isnt right on the day the club is saved rooney bolts thru the open door . Has he been pushed for financial reasons is the question . To be fair it has left a stain on his copy book for me . But its neil warnock for me or the return of the son of god nigel clough .

The complete raping and pillaging of our once great club is nearly complete. Well done Mel. Well done EFL. Well done two chairmen. Well done Quantuma. A complete and spectacular exhibition of collective sh!thousery.

The only thing with Rooney being manager or anyone of his status for that matter, is that the moment he achieves any kind of success with us he'll be off to Everton or United. It was the same with Lampard. Whilst I liked having them both as our manager, this is the sad reality.

I was initially shocked and disappointed but on reflection a total reset is what we need. So much emotional baggage and skeletons in the closet from the MM era. The players close to WR will probably not now re-sign and so be it.
New owner, new manager and new players is exactly what we need.
