Whilst I think you’re probably right, anything can happen in this league. Who would have expected Ipswich to drop points at home against Lincoln, Cheltenham an Fleetwood since we last lost a league game or for Plymouth to have only one of their last 5 league games?
I think any failure to catch the top two is more likely to be down to us not being able to put together an extended run of wins (rather than draws).
In other words, I think the opportunity to make up the difference might well present itself but I don’t think we’ll manage to take advantage.

The reason it sounds the same is because it's the same name. Shaun is just the Anglicised spelling of the Irish name Sean.

Its a great idea on the face of it except that you could get 100 of us together and we'd have 100 different takes on things, it wouldn't be the fans view, it'd be just that one fan's view.

We nearly died, it seemed half the football world wanted us to, from the hierarchy of the EFL to absolute chancers and grifters like Steve Gibson. I will always despise Rick Parry and Gibson. Despicable human beings who represent pretty much everything that is wrong with this world. Grubby, greedy little men who think they are above everyone else with no empathy for ordinary people.
We fought. Our support was unprecedented, unbelievable, superb, every game until the end of the season was the best I've ever seen. There were games toward the end where I just stood in the middle of the South Stand and marvelled at every stand singing as one, it was emotional, uplifting, it made me proud to be a Derby fan, proud to be from this beautiful, wonderful, part of the country.
The march on the day of the Birmingham match. Those of us who were there will never forget it. Looking back from the flyover near the station and seeing the road full all the way back to Traffic Street......its a wide road!
We've had our Christmas present, our club survived thanks to our unconditional support which I believe convinced David Clowes to step in and do what most of us would have done if we could.

Why would anybody not celebrate just because the level we had escaped from was lower?
Also, I don't see how we could compare his achievements, good or bad, with his predecessors. The standard of opposition is obviously lower but so is the budget and pool of players available to Warne. 

But surely it’s all relative , we may not be up against the same level of opposition but we also do not have the same level of players ,play offs are play offs at any level and so so much of it comes down to the manager getting the players heads in the right place , picking the right team and managing the game as it pans out 

I’d quite like the challenge of integrating a new right back.

35.3.3  For League Matches only, the Away Club shall be entitled to a commission representing 5 (five) per cent of the aggregate sales (exclusive of VAT) of tickets sold on behalf of the Home Club, unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs.

Emil Riis Jakobsen was released from our academy and deemed not good enough. He went back to Randers in Denmark and now finds himself playing in the league above us with Preston. My point being, don't judge a player too harshly too early, they may turn out better than you think.

Well, no. They generally don't have significant separate staffing, equipment or support departments from the wider BBC. The digital networks are run within the relevant parent department. So, for example, Five Live Sports Extra uses BBC Sport (and News) staff, studios, equipment and material, just like its parent network Five Live.

Well I guess the combined football knowledge of Cocu, Rooney, Rosenior and Warne wasn’t enough to stop them from playing a League 2 player in almost every match for 3 seasons. 
 
 

I love British TV me and especially the beeb - says the frenchman - I get french TV and it is sh!te, most of it. The equivalent of MOTD is 1 a hour program on a Sunday morning. 20 mins of adverts. For several years TF1 did not show any goals from ligue 1 cos they hadn't bought the rights, I am not making this up, a MOTD with no goals or matches highlights. Amazon Prime have got the rights now and sold them highlights but they still don't show all the goals all as it would cost them too much and there isn't enough time for all the adverts. When France are playing, half time analysis is 14 mins of adverts solid followed by a 30 secs "detailed" analysis of the first half by Deschamp. By this I mean 1 question and answer from the on field reporter " Didier, what did you make of the 1st half?"
I used to work/travel abroad quite a lot. No foreign TV gets anywhere near British TV and this is mostly due to the beeb setting a very high standard -  as mentioned in my previous post.

I like Ed Dawes. Don't really understand why people need to continually come out and blast him. No single commentator will appeal to everyone.
