Seth's left foot got a reaction from Pearl Ram in Keogh Sacked
Do you know what the biggest scandal in all of this is? That Bennett is classed as an asset 😂
Seriously though, this is from the outside looking in a decision of hypocrisy as he’s been sacked for causing a risk to the public... as a passenger! The two drivers should have been sacked.
Surely Keogh will appeal and if he wins that then this whole sorry saga will plumb new depths.
Such a sad end to a great servants career, he’ll be remembered for two negative events.
Derby County, I am so disappointed in you.

Because the club statement justifying Keogh’s sacking is completely at odds with retaining Bennett and Lawrence… and if you really don’t believe it’s a PR disaster then just have a search on Twitter. Can’t remember the last time United fans were talking about us.

Best result of the season so far, at last something positive to come out of the whole sorry mess.

We don’t know all the facts and the club are not compelled to reveal them in relation to Keogh, however based on what has been revealed, this does not look good. Easy to conclude (based on what’s in the public domain) that finances have played a role in the disciplinary actions taken and that should be irrelevant. It’s sack them all or sack none of them.
Be interesting to see how this impacts the squad and also whether Cocu supports the decision. He could walk if he doesn’t! If it galvanises everyone, then maybe Keogh was a bad egg and this is good for the long-term. If he’s as well liked within the squad as it seems, this could do a lot of damage.
Im usually on the positive side when I post, feeling quite negative about this tonight. I honestly think this season has just become about survival. Really hope I’m wrong.
Really sad for a good servant like Keogh to have his Derby career ended in this way. He only has himself to blame, but the club have now handled this badly IMO and we need strong leadership now for this not to drastically affect our season.

I'm sure this is too soon for most of you but i'd like to appreciate the service of Keogh to the club. Messed up at the end but on the pitch, he gave everything to our club and deservedly twice player of the season. Many ups and downs and it's a sad shady end but thank you for all the good you did for the club over the years.

Odd timing to announce it, before the trial and at this time of night. Don’t think it should really be confirmed before the court date, but I do think it coming out before tomorrow’s match may be of benefit so I can see why they’ve done it. I still personally think that they should have been sacked for the way they conducted themselves, but I suppose this is about as significant punishment off the field that we could’ve given without that happening, so fair play to the club for that.
Doesnt change anything to do with the fact they shouldn’t be playing at the moment mind, not before the court date and especially not before this statement came out. Still fuming at the club for that, shows us In a very very poor Light, and totally unneeded as well. My views on that certainly haven’t changed. But at least they have shown they are taking it seriously. Fair play to bennett for the statement as well, needs to show now that this whole event has had an effect on him and made him a better person through the community service etc to back up his words. Sort of apology that would be expected from the pair, no idea why they played before one as that just made the decision to involve them even worse. Don’t know why Lawrence hasn’t issued one yet either, he’d better get one out tomorrow or he’ll be rightly vilified further, particulary at the match. Least you can do is apologise! Hopefully he has one written and just hasn’t released it yet.
No apology means fans should forgive them yet though. I thoroughly expect they’ll be booed tomorrow, and they’ll absolutely deserve it. Doesn’t change for me that they shouldn’t be on the pitch.

Controversial or not, I don’t care. I also agree opinions will be split but....
To go around the ground apologising, going on the radio, conducting an internal investigation etc and then to give permission for Cocu tonight (who is also implicit) to play these two individuals is just shaming every single Derby fan and the club. He’s taken every single fan as a mug in my opinion.
I was ashamed of these players a week ago, tonight I’m ashamed of my club.
Another legacy (MM) hurt by awful awful decisions.

I’d have stopped Brian Clough leaving somehow. We’d have gone on to be more successful in Europe and that mob down the road would end up being just another league club.

If I was on a work night out for team building, which this was, and my boss told me transport is booked for 8, you can have a couple of beers but that’s it, I’d respect that decision and go home when asked.
The fact players stayed out, got wasted and caused a multi vehicle RTC is a disgrace, not to mention completely undermining the club and the manager. The fact that the club captain was part of that shows what respect he has for Cocu.
Richard Keogh should be setting the example for the other players, he should be the first one out the door and into that transport, encouraging the other players to do so.
Clearly there is a poor culture at the club and it needs eradicating
