Incredible win when you look at it a little closer.
That’s a team who are one of two running away with promotion already. Only lost once this season. Not lost away from home before today & only conceded one goal.
We didn’t get lucky, we were full value for the win. Proud.

Clubs can only claim through a process  in accordance with EFL Rules. EFL can change the rules, as it has done on stadia sales and reinterpreted the rule on amortisation.  It is not in the interests of the EFL for clubs to be engaged in litigation against each other, and Derby would have much more valid claims against other clubs.

A good read that was Reg, But not for those who believe in Fairy Tales, Football for me lost it's Soul years ago, I can't put a date/time on it, The passion I had for football has got me into bother with Away fans, Home fans, Family, The Law, The Courts, All because of a team called Derby County, They could have been aliens from another planet who ate their children and i've still walked on broken glass barefooted to watch them.
Football is a Corrupt Sport, FIFA, UEFA, CONCACAF and others are even today in it for the Money, Fans like B4 who posts on here, He and his Dad go home and away, Spend their hard earned, Are treated when going away as an inconvenience, He's where I and many many 1000s were back in the day.
In todays World of Football...it's run by those who have NO! affinity to the club they own, Players who cheat, Refs who are incompetent have taken the game to another World, Yesterday England Vs Albania...2mins of injury time in the 1st half, When there were 4 stopages from Albanian players going down injuered amounting to close on 8mins, The fans are still being cheated, The price fans pay for this division is £30+ for an away game...and people still pay it...and fare play to them.
Sorry for the rant all unfortunately it's the World we live in...driven by £££££££££££££££££££££.

Anyway, it's good news - if I was Rooney I would just take it easy on the players for the rest of the season. Play the kids, do not risk injuries and keep the players that we want to keep long-term sweet.
It's good to get closure, one way or the other. I'm looking forward to next season already. I am 100% getting a season ticket again, providing we can put these fascicle years behind us. Enjoy the rest of the season for what it is - a chance to watch football, support the lads that stuck around and enjoy the days with the people around you.

Is there any wonder football is broken?
I've said it before, but as someone fast approaching their free bus-pass who was in the BBG when we were winning the league, the Championship suits me just fine. Every game winnable and I can get tickets for any game I want to attend. Selfish maybe, but the Premier League is a farce.

I guess this was the point of his rats nest of limited companies,  Gellaw this that and the other - carefully constructed to protect his personal fortune on the day that it all comes tumbling down
Ultimately, the club has not gone into administration because it has "run out of money", it's gone into administration because MM no longer wants to own it, but is trapped into continuing to own it because he can't find a buyer. And he can't find a buyer because he's got the club into an undesirable state
Administration is the coward's way out, instead of just admitting responsibility and fixing it
The only question to ask yourself is "why would anyone buy the club?"
If there was a way to turn it around from here and make money, then MM would be doing it

The most amazingly wonderful afternoon out.
Commitment, aggression, a few bits of really tidy skill, ups, downs, a comedy ref, Jason Knight back....3 points and a big Stoke following sent crying back to their grim towns for an evening of poo beer, greasy chips, oatcakes and glue-sniffing.
I ducking LOVE this football club. duck administration, Mel, EFL, everything. We must survive, that's all. I don't care if it's Matlock Town away first game of next season, I WILL be there. Just please someone save this magic institution.

I was fortunate enough to watch our second title win as a youth on the 'pop side' I'll always remember a midweek game towards the end of that season against man city, which we won 2-0 (I think) with Rioch scoring an absolute screamer! The other game that always stands out is our FA Cup quarter final victory over Newcastle...... The goals..... What a game, Charlie George, Kevin Hector, never reach those heights again, I consider myself very fortunate to have witnessed that era........ You Raaaaaaaaams!!

Surely it’s time for him to accept this job is, understandably, too much for him and do the right thing and walk away. Install Mac until the end of the season and try to regain some kind of positive and understandable style of play.

Vulcanboy reacted to Carl Sagan in Trusting Sibley and setting up to attack or defend
Do we set up to score goals or to not concede goals? The Euros saw Gareth Southgate pick 8 or 9 defensive players every game and it worked for a while but couldn't get him over the line, with an incredible array of attacking talent on his bench. Rooney has far fewer options but a very similar mindset.
Asked in today's Radio Derby interview why Louie Sibley doesn't start Rooney effectively said he doesn't trust him defensively. Sibbo is to Rooney what Jack Grealish is to Southgate. Rooney said he didn't play Sibbo specifically because his number one priority was not to fall behind in the match.
Here's the interview https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p09pv3hb with the best version of the interview at 46:30.
Derby's problem is not scoring goals. Louie Sibley is the biggest goal threat our team has. Aston Villa built their team around Grealish until selling him for £100m. If Derby are going to survive (and maybe thrive) this season we need to build our team around Sibbo, not give him a cameo in which to try to make the difference. How best to do this?
I have long argued that the 4-2-3-1 does not work for us and we should be playing 4-3-3 (set up as 4-1-2-3). With the players available at the moment we should have Shinnie shielding the defence and then we can have Morrison and Sibley as the two more forward midfielders, which gives a forward line of Kazim-Richards central and Jozwiak and Thomas wide. So much more threatening than what we have at the moment.
With a team desperate for goals, having your 5 most dangerous attacking players in the line-up seems a no brainer. Rooney needs to learn to trust Sibley, and I am certain that trust would be rewarded.

Except that the DC's comments don’t say what they mean other than we owed or owe HMRC money and have not paid transfer instalments. It doesn’t say whether that’s all transfer instalments or just one minor one.
Say, for example, that we didn't pay the PAYE bill on the month's wages we didn’t pay when we thought the Sheikh was going to pay but that since then we have paid the HMRC? Say that transfer instalments were due in January and we thought the Sheikh was going to pay them but didn’t, but since then we have paid them. In both those situations we shouldn’t be so worried.
The trouble with the DCs comments is that there is no context and no detail so you can read into them whatever you like.  It may actually not be a problem any more; it may be a problem that will be solved with new owners and that everyone involved is cool and dandy with the whole thing; it may be a matter of considerable concern.
Take your pick because your guess is as good as anybody’s. But it is a guess.

I have mixed feelings about this season. I am dreading the final chapters of  EFL’s vendetta aimed entirely at getting us a points deduction. It sickens my fair play gut .. they, for whatever motive, want to kick us while we are on the floor. It’s toxic. We have gained no advantage from anything we may or may not have done. The almost visible hatred that emanates from that organisation is palpable.
That said, we are where we are, with a thread bare squad but some talented young players mixed with some old soldiers. There’s a kind of spirit that can come from that. Just maybe some of the young ones really can step up. Maybe Wayne is genuinely learning on the job and will find some magic. I don’t think for a minute we are looking at play offs but I think we might just find something that stops us being whipping boys. You know what … adversity can just provide the spark that makes a team. Jeez and with the restrictions being dropped .. I might just use my flexible friend for my season ticket .. I’ll tell you what, whoever is in our team, if they turn up and fight then I am right behind them.

I think there will be other clubs that are just as bad if not worse.
We only didn’t pay wages due to the takeover.
Pearce also said that the players deferred wages due to covid was with the idea that once the stadium is full again we will repay it, but they’ve already repaid them early.
I bet a lot of Championship clubs have deferred wages and they’re still unpaid.
