Great speech by Gary. I appreciate what he said about Middlesbrough and Wycombe dropping their claims. It is the right and gracious thing to do.  Anything other than that is spiteful and greedy and causes hate and ill feeling which will last for years. I'm so pleased someone has at last made a bid for the club. It is a step in the right direction and gives us some hope.

Agreed. We won't hear from him again otherwise we'd have heard by now. We're on the brink. Totally spineless. We should never forget what he has done to this great club. A fan my arse.
I'm still not convinced that he's even lost that much of his own wealth either. If we get through this there should be a thorough enquiry to determine how much he actually 'lost' in all this. A few could be surprised.

That is total disrespect though sorry. Bury would be as important to all of their fans and its place in their lives as Derby is to us. That is what this is about. We must not forget that esp how their MP spoke so eloquently to help us yesterday

Fair enough mate, if that's how you feel, but I'll not be giving up just yet. To my mind the prime reason we are doing so well is that the lads keep stepping it up. Every single challenge and set-back is met with an even fiercer resolve. Whatever you think, they don't think they're beat.
There are better squads than us, there are better starting 11's, but there's not a team in the entire EFL who can match our unity, determination and dogged will to win. We won't win every game of course and losing further players will provide an even stiffer challenge, but any team that plays us will know they've been in a game. United were running on fumes inside the last 20.
I'm with these lads all the way, as this will be a season that I'll remember forever. Throughout all the time I've followed this club, I don't think I've ever been so proud of the team and coaches. One through eleven and the subs as well, literally giving their all.
I can't be giving up on that mate.

Sat here in bits again. My dad is really really ill and his bad days seem to coincide with bad news Derby days. He is Derby through and through and I'm not sure he understands or is aware of the off the field stuff now but I know later watching those goals on Quest with him how he will light up as little else makes him do now. That is why we have to save our club. It is not about amortisation, stadium sales, law suits, points deductions, etc. it is about watching those goals with my dementia-ridden dad and seeing his happiness for a few minutes later knowing we're off the bottom. The wonder of dementia is he will have forgotten tomorrow so we can do it all again several times. So duck the EFL, Morris, Gibson and the nobody chancer from Wycombe. We are better people than all of you and how dare you threaten the existence of our Derby family.

Bristol City and EFL: “Discussions are still being held to establish whether forecast transfer revenue can be included, along with ticket sales, as an “add-back”, with City to seek independent auditors and transfer experts to determine the full figure, which is deeply subjective.”
Using auditors to determine a notional (ie fantasy) loss of ticket revenue and player sales that they want EFL to include in their profit/loss calculation for FFP. How convenient.

My view on the Boro, WW situation is clear, currently neither of these clubs have any legal claim against the Rams and will not until they get judgement in a court of law/LDP
The administrators can book the claims if they wish on the balance sheets as "contingent liabilities", but these would not crystallise until there was a judgement or an out of court settlement, I am looking forwards to seeing Boro's next set of accounts to see if they state their claim on their balance sheet, as deferred income?
I am a gambling man and would definitely have a side bet that these claims will come to exactly nothing. The EFL cannot do anything unless there is a judgement against the Rams and as such any Wrist slitting about this is pointless and a waste of time. I believe that either interested party coming in will tough it out with both clubs with " And if you think your hard enough bring it on" Ashley loves litigation as do most USA companies, given the state of Boro's finances I cannot see that they have deep enough pockets to fight a lot cause.

January 2008 the take over by Andy Appleby with general sports and entertainment took on a debt of 31 million, thought it was a lot higher than that, and they were very prudent with bringing the debt down and making Derby a stable club.
If Andy Appleby took control again every confidence under his guidence Derby would rise again and thankfully he would be careful about spending the cash.
Mike Ashley again would be prudent with the cash and Derby would be a very stable club, Wayne has proven that large transfer fees for mediocre championship players is not the way forward, finding ageing experienced players who wish to give their all for the club, alongside our young academy players who have become men in the Championship this season and we are so fortunate to have this outstanding academy, no more cash and bust!
Would be delighted whichever took the club over, for the club would be stable again.

Three bids on the table despite the position with HMRC. One of the bids involves Gadsby - like him or loathe him won’t let club go to the wall. Yet seen comments that we’re miles away from a takeover and it looks like liquidation. Honestly some people - get a grip! There is nothing in Jim’s post that Indicates they won’t name a preferred bidder next week and if things were so negative then why would they tell the whole squad and staff what’s happening as Rooney confirmed the other day?! Previous comms has just been with Rooney.

Honestly think people just see what they want to see rather than take what is said.

For me it's a show of support for a fellow football fan, no matter how young he was.
No doubt he would have gone on to attend football games had things been different.
You are right, we clap a lot of people, hold minutes silences for many, give symbolic gestures for political movements, it does get a bit much...but
I can't think of anyone who needs a round of applause, or a show of some sort of love as an innocent 5 year old boy who genuinely thought no one loved him.
Forget football, I'd watch my club go to the wall if it brought him back.

Have just seen on Twitter that Birmingham City and Millwall are to remember Arthur in the 6th minute of tomorrow's game, a tribute which is being followed by a number of other clubs fans.
Would be touching if we as a group of supporters could do the same thing, the reports of his case would make a grown man break down in tears.
    RIP Arthur
